I think you both overlooked it; the edit was referring to the TSB. At one point, they originally could explode and cause mass damage but this was removed. After feedback from others, I edited it back in and that's where the 100 damage comes into play.

I also think the wording of the chakra exceeding portion is faulty. I believe it was meant to techniques doing 100+ damage being able to beat these orbs. I'll need to edit that later, I believe.

Also, in regards to your gun thing, you'd be possible but it'd only be useable with the Mode active and definitely not as a secondary ability of a Tool.

Description: This technique is the strongest non Eighth Gate Taijutsu in existence. Toyokumono gives the user's Taijutsu powerful space warping abilities and puts them on par with Night Guy in terms of capabilities. The effects of this technique are strongest the closer one is to the user, allowing the user to bend space towards him to let Taijutsu attacks "phase" through counters. When taijutsu is used, the user is able to cause the space around and near the attacks to bend either towards or away from the attack. When in short range, this allows the user go have a near 100% chance of landing attacks despite any physical counter presented. Should target be mid range away, the user is able to warp the space in between his attack, causing it to bend towards it, effectively pulling the target towards the attack and reducing the space between the attack and opponent to short range. With this technique, the only way to avoid taijutsu would be to combat them with energy attacks or stay out of mid range.
Note: The S/T warping of this technique allows attacks to effectively warp through defenses of equal rank and lower regardless of chakra input or damage should they be physical/corporeal.
Note: This ability remains active for as long as the user is using Yang State.

Perhaps the biggest change to the recent techs is the effect that Yang State grants to the user; while originally, all the user gained was near limitless speed and durability and a zone that indiscriminately increases everyone's speed and damage while inside it, Yang State now actually offers Taijutsu that has an actual effect, warping space around targets when in use to create "perfect" assaults. Without directly stating it, it mentions how one can defend the techs enhanced by it as well as how to avoid it via range. What ways can this be defended against? If Konoha Ryujin is used against this, how can you counter in short range? Mid range? Keep in mind the user will still have the TSB with him.

It seems that staying in mid range is the correct way to defend this technique if youre there. But I also see that even in short range, the ability to warp attacks around defenses to have them auto land only applies to *physical* defenses. So using a spiritual (or energy?) attack will be the best way to go. Which just so happens to be Yin's forte

Which further illustrates the fact that Yin and Yang in the RP arent really counterparts and aren't really equal. Especially when you consider the restrictions against using advanced ninjutsu while using most Yang techniques while Yin has none of these.

Seriously, why has no one addressed this? Why is Yin so much stronger and less restricted than Yang? Why isnt Yin restricted in the same way Yang is (You could also just strengthen Yang but I figure thats harder) Meanwhile, the staff is trying to pump new Yin techniques into the RP as if that's an issue somehow

In mid range, attacks are merely pulled towards the user's strikes, making it so that you have some time to move or dodge or what have you. You can also use stronger ranked attacks or defenses and this wouldnt be able to get around it

Konoha ryujin can be warped through due to it being an A rank in short, you can also use TSB to just block it or something. This works in both short and mid

Basically, you can use energy based techniques to combat it. Then also you can stay out of mid-range to just not be affected at all really. If Konoha Ryujin is used, you could merely use a stronger energy based attack to combat the dragon.
