Pretty good.Thanks. Been a long time coming, if I may be so bold. Glad to finally join the #Gang.
So, in it's purest form, Yin-Yang is broken down into it's two components, Yin and Yang. Yin governs spirituality, and more importantly Spiritual Energy, and allows one to give form to what's in their mind. Techniques utilized in Yin, as far as I've seen, inflict more spiritual harm than physical harm, such as targeting an opponent's mind, and is somewhat based in Genjutsu as far as I'm aware. Yang on the other hand governs vitality, and more specifically, Physical Energy. It allows one to imbue things with life, sentience, etc that otherwise have none. It's also heavily involved in techniques that easily surpass Medical Ninjutsu, as Naruto was able to sustain Might Guy's life, even after his forfeiture upon entering the Eight Inner Gates Formation, and practically burning his body to ash with the Night Guy technique. It's also blatantly rooted in Taijutsu, as I took a look at the Yang list a while ago, and it has a couple of techniques that either boost, or utilize Taijutsu to an extreme extent. It's also vague, but Yin and Yang themselves also have a minor role in a lot of the "regular" fields, and HA's in Naruto, such as the Nara Clan's Shadows, or the Akimichi's Expansion, as stated by Yamato back when Naruto was learning about changes in a Chakra's Nature, and asked about those specific examples. Another example off the top of my head would be Tayuya's Summoning Golem's, and their spiritual worm-things that stole Chakra on contact from Shikamaru in their fight.
Combining the two allows one to achieve Yin-Yang, which encompasses a wide range of things, but most importantly, it gives one the ability to give form to the formless, then grant it life, which is best encapsulated within the "Creation of all Things" technique. Beyond this, I don't know that much, as Yin-Yang has always been one of those ambiguous fields in Naruto. There's probably technically nothing it can't do. Incidentally, the two energies that Yin and Yang individually govern over, Spiritual and Physical Energy, are themselves the same energies that combine to create Chakra, so the theme of combining the two have been integral to the series since Billboard 4head Sakura broke down Chakra way back in Episode 2 or 3.
Lets start with the ol giving life, you explain and ask any questions:After reading over the first post or two from your training with Drackos, I have a much clearer understanding of how it's defined on NB. Don't have any questions at the moment.
In the RP yang master refers to you having the yang extra spec, not just finishing the field. So if you choose the spec, which i believe you will from when we have spoke before, you will be able to apply this to CE, Blaze etc. Adv fields also includes stuff like, leaf dragon god. Having YY and choosing the super spec just gives you the benefits of being a master of both O_<So, it's a very simple technique. You take a Jutsu you perform, add additional Yang Chakra to it, thereby granting it sentience, halving the techniques size, but allowing it to act autonomously. It can perform techniques from the same Element it is created from, with a Chakra pool of 300.
So, first question, what is a Yang Master, and what does it take to become one? It isn't exactly explicitly explained in the rules, and knowing whether or not I can use this with CE, or something like Blaze Release is something I'd obviously like to know. Is it as simple as Specializing in Yang, or is it, as I suspect, restricted to users who've achieved Y/Y?
Next, is the -10 per turn from your own Chakra pool, or the entities? Wouldn't make sense for it to come from your own Chakra instead of it's own defined pool, but I'd like to be sure.
Besides that, everything is pretty self-explanatory.
It doesn't have a sustain cost, so it wont constantly heal 150 each turn. The way it works is, you release the surge, it instantly heals your health pool, and the regrowth's etc are formed by your next turn. It's a little weird wording, but you'd have to use the jutsu again in the following turn to sustain. Now that you've answered that a Yang master is essentially just a Yang specialist, that's probably going to save a lot of time going forward. Anyway, this is one big healing Jutsu that slaps a band aid on literally anything, providing the target is still alive. Works on yourself if you're a specialist in Yang. Bigger wounds take longer to heal, but with a max recovery of 150 a turn, and the average member's health being 160, it's logically two turns at most to heal someone back up to max. The only question I have here is whether or not each turn counts as it's own "usage", and thus costs 70 Chakra each time? It does say 150 Health can be recovered per turn, implying a single usage can be spread out over multiple turns, but like with the Chakra Pool drain question in the last Jutsu, it's left vague.
Asking is good. That way, you can blame me if you use it wrong. But it's in a ruling from the grand tourny, myself vs riker i believe if you want further info.Yeah, wording is a bit iffy. Why I needed to ask, so thanks, lol.
This is the kind of stuff I wanted to see. Huge focus on Taijutsu with an amazing damage boost, speed boost that far surpasses my Leg Weights, passive healing of 30, in addition to built-in damage mitigation of twice that much. Basically you can tank an unboosted Forbidden Rank, and heal what damage does affect you for the next turn. Amazing stuff. Though it does come with a big activation cost, and cost per turn, but it more than makes up for it with what you get. 300 Chakra in total for the 4 turns? No brainer. Definitely using this one.
You haven't bugged me for an entire day, wild. So i figured I'd reply.Okay, so, 70 Chakra for the base activation, and -40 Chakra per turn for as long as you decide to keep the technique active, or perform 4 strikes. In return, you're able to prevent your opponent from using techniques unless they spend three times as much Chakra, in addition to halving their remaining Chakra pool, lowering their speed by a quarter, and after 4 strikes, makes Genjutsu unusable altogether, with additional effects and restrictions depending on the user's level of mastery and knowledge of Yin-Yang. Did I get all that? Wow. Good stuff. No questions. It's a bit much, and a nit messily placed over the technique, but I understand, and can't wait to try it out.
