What the **** is pre crisis
Pre-crisis refers to Superman's prime he had many powers and mental abilities and it is the stage in his life where his strength and speed are at their highest... This is also the main point in the Goku vs Superman argument and the main reason there is an argument is that generally people know one side and assume they know the other... Manga and Comics are two similar yet also very different reffered tastes in literature and often someone does one and not the other or very little of the other misinformation is key in this argument which is why people are so vehemently opposed to the other side... Superman had far less abilities in his original form than in his most powerful form he basically had; Super strength, leaping great distances, super speed and near invulnerability (he couldn't even fully fly yet, it was added in after the first 6-10 years of Superman) most people refer to this as golden age Superman, however after years of plot and honing his powers (and realizing new ones) we have silver age or pre-crisis Superman the strongest of the three ages in this time Superman can travel many times faster than the speed of light, is fully invulnerable to nearly every deadly force (excluding some forms of radiation like from kryptonite or magical energy wave lengths as most magic is multi dimensional), move planets and entire cosmos with his strength, intense optical lasers to any strength the man of steel can muster in stamina which is very very nearly without limit whatsoever... For silver age Superman it may seem I'm being exaggerating but honestly I'm not there are many hundreds of Superman comics each with different adventures and they wrote him so they could have a truly fanciful and ultimate hero even if his potential is unrealistic (not that every comic book hero and action manga hero isn't I swear they're all so F-ing rediculous)... Now however a super ultimate omega over powered super hero doesn't make a very good story if the hero can't lose or if his opponents are outclassed in every definition of the word, which is why we have post crisis Superman... Post crisis Superman is much weaker and much more vulnerable than pre crisis, post crisis lost many of his powers; hypnosis, ventriloquism, super healing and was weakened greatly in; strength, speed, agility, reflexes, invulnerability, stamina, resilience, super vision, optical lasers, super breath... Basically every thing. Unfortunately however most people see this form of Superman as the end all be all of Superman as it is the level of power portrayed most often by television, the movies, and other media in general... ... ...
As far as my understanding goes if Goku in adult form with a tail, who required a minimum of 2 minutes to charge a spirit bomb (even though it was usually much longer), can use kaioken up to x20 (I think that's as far as he ever took it before reaching SSJ1 which is technically x50 power), can transform into all four super Saiyan forms, can use instant transmission so long as he takes the time to find an energy signature to use it (he can do it to Superman, however precrisis and post crisis have mental abilities that can sense if Goku performed this near him or directly to him), and Goku does not have any of the Dragon Balls with him and they are not being used by anyone to aid him or hinder Superman...
If Superman had the powers from his golden age Superman would put up a good fight until Goku entered SSJ1 or 2 as this Superman has no mental abilities to assist him and has the smallest variety of powers which drastically limits his strategic options, however due to Superman's resilience and strength it would probably take the power of SSJ2 to finish him although SSJ1 would dominate the majority of the fight...
If Superman had the powers from post crisis Superman would be generally equal but slightly greater than that of SSJ3 and would put up a much better fight in power, strategy and skill compared to Golden Age, however again due to Superman's profound invulnerability and resilience while Goku could easily dominate the fight in SSJ4 it would probably take the power of the spirit bomb or multiple dragon fists to finish off Superman...
Finally if Superman had the powers of his precrisis form Goku would put up a moderately long and arduous fight (probably prolonged by Superman's general unwillingness to kill a good person or especially a fellow hero) however virtually all of Goku's techniques would be useless and do little to no damage and none of it to the point of dire injury or anything near it Superman would simply be stronger, faster, more resilient and far far too tough to be killed, to kill precrisis Superman would require a being designed to do exactly and specifically that (and trust me DC Comics has plenty of those beings).
