A-ranks... the marathon is hitting its third quarter xd

(Himitsu Kibaku Fuda no Jutsu) Hidden Explosive Tags Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description:
The user does a sequence of 4 hand seals (Tiger → Rat → Bird → Snake) or slams his hand on the ground or surface. Using his chakra, he is able to stream a multitude of paper tags through the ground and use his chakra to keep them hidden from sight. As they stream towards the target, they are undistinguishable from the ground, seamlessly merged with it. Nearing the target, they rise from the ground, "crawling" up the target. As they wrap themselves in lairs around the target, the user can choose when to detonate them, making a quicker, weaker detonation or waiting for more paper tags to pile in the target and adding more damage.
If you recall, in the manga/anime, Hanzo used this jutsu against Nagato, and it left the latter with severe injuries to his legs and effectively handicapped. That should give you an idea of its capability.

Take note of the different levels of strength the jutsu can have, detailed in the last sentence.

Let's say I use this against you. How would you counter the jutsu in the following stages:
1. As I form the handseals
2. As the tags are streaming through the ground
3. As the tags start wrapping around your legs

... so what I'm asking is, at each of these different times of the jutsu's occurrence, what might you do to stop it, and how would they differ from stage to stage?

This was hard.

1. For one I would most likely run towards the opponent considering how the damage would most likely effect them too if they were caught in the blast.

2. If I were dojutsu I'd notice, otherwise I'd assume a technique was coming from the hand seals and run leap into the air to kill the opponent.

3. Easiest way to dodge without meta-gaming. I'd peel the tags off while running towards my opponent, as the tags come off I launch the kunai back all in a fluid motion.

Lastly still confused how did Nagato with a Rinnegan Mind you miss that tech lmfao.

It's always good to critically think about each jutsu. Good effort on the exercise!

1. I like this answer. The paper tags would be streaming towards your first location, and by maneuvering, your opponent would have a hard time redirecting them to tag you.

2. Try an Earth jutsu that wrecks the ground or a fire technique that's channeled through it. Anything that uses the ground as a medium is a good counter because it would explode the tags prematurely.

3. There are no kunai in this jutsu. Use a body-surge jutsu to push the tags away, or yeah... you could even peel them off, if you're fast enough xd

Nagato may not have been able to sense it or couldn't react on time. These jutsus and abilities in the RP are usually slightly modified to make them easier to counter and less OP :)

Three more weapon techniques next! The third one is my favorite ;)

(Midare Senbu) – Chaos Fan Dance
Rank: A
Type: Offensive, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: After attacking the enemy with the users fan, thus launching them into the air. The user then throws their fan to slice the enemy up, after which they then disappear. The user then reappears behind the enemy. Finally the user Grabs the fan and then jabs them into the ground.
Note: Must have a Fan/ War Fan.
(Sōshōryū Seichuu) - Rising Twin Dragons Control
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: This technique is similar to the normal Twin Rising Dragons, but is an upgraded version. The user doesn't have to hold onto the weapons; they can just send them flying only with a movement of thier hand, which makes the weapons a lot faster. Also, with this new version, The user includes exploding tags in the spread in order to make the technique more effective.
(Sōgu: Tensasai) - Manipulated Tools: Heavenly Chain of Destruction
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: A stronger version of the Twin Rising Dragons, the user tosses their large scroll into the air above her opponent and summons hundreds of different weapons from it, which then rain down, impaling the opponent and anything in their path. The weapons move so fast that they appear as white streaks.

Cool. Let's take a look at these next two techniques, and I'll teach you an advanced concept that I like to call 'partial move integration'. It's a fancy way of saying that you don't have to perform EVERY SINGLE PART of a technique in order for it to be able to be used. However, a more nuanced way to look at it is using two moves in such a way that it gives the impression that it's only one move.

Knowing that, how might you integrate both these techniques together?

(Bunshin Bakuha) - Shadow Clone Explosion
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description:At first glance the clone appears to be a normal tangible Bunshin, but the user can detonate the clone at any time to form a very large explosion. (This shadow clone variant can only use normal ninjutsu, and Taijutsu).
Note:Must already know shadow clone jutsu to use this jutsu.
(Mikadzuki no Mai) - Dance of the Crescent Moon
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: As the ninja charges at the opponent, they create multiple shadow copies to confuse the opponent. Using the confusion, the real ninja will attack from the opponent's blindside.

Mugen created a shadow clone that would blast off charging towards the opponent. Mugen would arc around the opponent with the clone, once he got in short range he would explosively leap off the ground as the clone exploded Mugen would stab the opponent from above.

Couple of things I want to note:
- Dance of the Crescent Moon allows you to create multiple Shadow Clones. I saw that you only made one in your description. The point that I want to get across is that you can create multiple Shadow Clones with maybe one or two of them being the explosive variant.
- For maximum effect, aim for the blindside. You can even use a new jutsu that you've already learned, like an element or something.

That being said, why don't you try it again, this time with the tips I've given you? Focus on how you articulate your maneuvers.

Mugen created multiple shadow clones, four in total included himself. Two would run forwards the opponent while Mugen and another of his clones would come from behind on the left and right. As soon as the clones reached the opponent, they would explode sending the opponent back while a cloud of smoke expanded across the battlefield Mugen's last clone would jump from above in order to stab the opponent while Mugen was behind lunging at heart.

Much better. Let's apply that same principle to these Shuriken-based techniques...

(Shihouhappou Shuriken) - All Directions Shuriken
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After utilizing the Kage Bunshin no jutsu, the user will spread out in various directions to surround the opponent before releasing a barrage of projectiles simultaneously.
(Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After throwing one shuriken or more against their target, the user creates up to a thousand shadow clones of the shuriken (or kunai, senbon, etc, basically any basic weapon) after performing Ram → Rat → Bird → Boar → Tiger which multiply the damage as its striking down the enemy. This is a technique that combines ninja tools with ninjutsu. Compared to normal shadow clones, clones of material objects are said to be on a far higher level. There is no need for preparations beforehand, like stocking up on shuriken, yet since the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the shadow blades that fly around are equally lethal. This is valid for any weapon copied and it has been seen that the copied weapons will also have the tags or markings of the original, like sealing or explosive tags or sealing marks.

Mugen ran towards his opponent with blinding speed, performing hand seal upon reaching short range. Multiple clones surrounded the opponent simultaneously throwing a shuriken. The clones would then perform a hand seal multiplying the number of shuriken infinitely. The shuriken would pile up and destroy the opponent leaving no hope for escape.

Great strategy! I like how you made the clones perform the handseals instead of yourself. That multiples the shuriken at far higher quantities than if you did it yourself.

However, each clone using it counts as single move... so technically, you can only have up to two clones perform it in one go (because the All Directions counts as one... and the two clones using the Shuriken Shadow Clone count as two... so that would add up to your limit of three moves per turn). Just keep those details in mind.

Any further questions, comments, or thoughts??

Nope makes perfect sense, loved how The Third Hokage used it, and it makes any # of shurikens superb technique.

No, you were consistent. For some reason I just liked the pace we were going at. You let me do what I wanted and the training was fun. Now I just have to finish Genjutsu and I've mastered Basic 9.
My personal teaching principles are to make sure the student understands each technique and exactly how it works. I place enough trust in my students to figure out the abstract and 'out-of-the-box' methods, which to me is an endlessly rewarding endeavor. That doesn't mean you can't approach me with questions though xd

If you need a genjutsu teacher, let me know.
