I know you probably have your own teaching method, but is there any way you can teach me the Summoning Jutsu next? I learned Snakes and their Ninjutsu without the actual Summoning technique, when it is required to know so. I couldn't/ didn't ask before cause we weren't at B-Ranks, but now that we are, can you do me this liquid solid? I just want to submit my CSC without fear of being found out... >__>
One/three advantages:
How you would counter it:Best way if they are merged with the ground is to use something like Chidori Nagashi, to disrupt the ground, and shock/ paralyze the target. Besides that, there isn't much need to prevent the opponent from using this, as it would usually come after you use a technique, meaning to prevent the opponent from using it, you would have to stop using what technique you used, and focus on another technique, but that would break time frame as the opponent's using that move relies on you using what move the came before it. (I'll stop now cause I'm getting carried away... :|)
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I gather Chakra throughout my body and use it to establish a link between myself and the ground, merging the two. As I use my chakra to facilitate my egress into the ground I make sure and keep a balance between the parts that are merged, and the parts that aren't. As I completely merge with the ground I can still tell where you are and other features of the terrain, which is handy. Like a neutral version of HLAM, only you can't use Ninjutsu of any kind while merged with something with this jutsu.
One/three advantages:
- Certainly good if you want to avoid damage, but it also looks like it has some nice espionage qualities, using this to listen in on conversations without being detected. Another thing I can see this used for, but it's a bit more controversial, using this to hide in an object that you have someone else carry, friend or foe alike. This is controversial because I don't know if there is a limit to the size of the object you can fuse with, or what happens if the object is destroyed, or has Chakra channeled into it. All these things are important when considering how to use this Jutsu.
- I'm assuming that it carries the same risks as techniques like Hiding like a Mole technique. If you merge with the ground, like Madara did, and say someone uses Earth Shaking or something like that, I assume it would affect your link with the ground, and you'd suffocate.
- Fighting anyone with a Doujutsu, and using this, is like putting your head on a chopping block, because unlike Hiding like a Mole, you can't use other Jutsu when merged. They will be able to see you and attack you, and you won't be able to counter/ defend yourself.
