I'm only following your directions. I only put the minimum here because this technique is more of a liability than an aid. By this, I mean I am more likely to damage myself than my opponent, plus I would be wasting a move to use this to defend from kunai, as I could do that free form. But another advantage would be an opponent using Taijutsu would be close enough to trap inside the wall, proving a counter to be.. Harder to accomplish, to say the least.

Okay better. You can reply two answers, but make them be detailed as possible. For the next technique you must be airborne to use it already meaning you cant just leap off the ground a little and say you use it. Focus your chakra deep into your lungs and release it from your mouth in form of a wind stream which allows you to create your direction mid air. First use a technique to get airborne then use it.

Counter​

The only way to really counter this technique would be to have something in place so that when they used it, it would lead them right into something else. For example, let's say my opponent is going through the air because of jutsu and is going toward a mud hole. I would be able to activate this technique, given I had previously set it up, and then they would be done for.

Description: A trap technique in which the user will place somewhere and is activated upon contact with the opponent's chakra. The user uses a scroll to lay the trap in which releases mud that forms into the shape of wolves that will attack the enemy target/s. Despite being damaged the wolves can reform which can keep the enemy occupied to allow the enemy make a getaway. (Can only create a maximum of 3 mud wolves)
Note: Takes one turn to set the trap up and wolves only last two turns

Combinations​

I could see myself using this one with a lot of various fire techniques. This is because if I was doing the technique in mid air, I could increase its strength, and get to a safe distance before it goes off. Win, win.

Questions​

The strength of this technique will only take me to mid range, correct? Like, I couldn't go from short to long range only using this?

Performance​

Trunks stands and forms the Tiger hand seal to concentrate his doton chakra. By releasing it through the release points on the bottom of his feet, he infuses it into the ground beneath him. By using shape manipulation, Trunks then raises a large plateau of Earth under him. The plateau would rise to mid range above the training grounds.

Description: By performing the Tiger hand seal the user then makes a gigantic rampart rise up beneath the user's feet, by shaping the ground and increasing the amount of earth with chakra. Depending on what the user imagines, the shape of the rampart can be anything from level ground to a steep, needle-like mountain. If the user increases the volume of earth too much, he can be forced to keep his chakra consumption down. The user can combine this jutsu with Water Style: Waterfall Basin Technique to create a waterfall.

After he believed he was high enough, Trunks gathers his fuuton chakra into his lungs, and jumps off of the structure. As he falls, he releases the chakra through his mouth while using nature manipulation to create a stream of wind powerful enough to change the trajectory of his fall. He lands on both feet, but slides back about half a meter before he fully stops.

This is because, it has no hand seals, it attacks from a blind spot, and he would have no time to counter because of the technique that he is using. And to do this, all I have to do is slam my hands on the ground, so that is totally doable before I am lifted. Yes, I may be pelted by a few rocks, but in the end I would have done the most damage.

Combinations

Since this technique has the power to pick up rocks, I don't see why it wouldn't have the power to pick up ninja tools as well. So I would lay out several kunai knives before doing this, so they get picked up and shot off at my opponent as well. I could also use this to lift my opponent into the air, so that during their free fall, I can accurately predict where they are going to be, no matter which jutsu I decide to use.

Performance

Trunks stands mid range from your clone, and concentrates his fuuton chakra. He then uses nature manipulation to turn it into wind, as he blows a powerful wide spread gust in your clones direction. It would lift up various rocks and pebbles of differing sizes before eventually lifting the clone as well. Not long after being lifted, the clone would begin to be pelted with the rocks and stones, travelling at high speeds. After a few moments of this stoning, the wind dies down allowing the clone and rocks to fall.

1. The first technique is a simple and basic technique, clap your two hands together and concentrate wind chakra into it and transform it into a massive gale of wind. Use this technique to knock down my clone to the ground. The technique can also be combined quite well with projectile weapons such as kunais and shirukens.

3.) If used with ninja tools, this technique basically aids with free form, so it should be able to be countered using the same

Counter

Given the relative strength and uses of this technique, an elemental wall of any kind (except wind) should be able to stop this and/or any projectiles associated with it.

Combinations

I would use this technique with others that aid in ninja tool use. For example, using a scroll to release dozens of kunai, all being sped up and enhanced by this technique would work well together.

Performance

Trunks concentrates his fuuton chakra by slamming his hands together. He then uses nature manipulation to produce a powerful gale of wind that he would then send at your nearby clone. The gale of wind would then slam into your clone with great force, knocking him to the ground.

Counter

Given that this technique relies on the use of throwing ninja tools, it would be easy to counter it by using a technique to throw the tools off course. This means I could use any wind technique that uses a blast of wind to force the tool up and away, so it would miss me all together.

Combinations

I would try to use this technique with a fire jutsu of some sort. This is because if I can wing it to where the kunai catches fire from the wind chakra, it would create a spinning vortex of fire that is actually a kunai with increased cutting power.

Performance

Trunks pulls a kunai knife out of his ninja bag and holds it with both hands. He channels his fuuton chakra and infuses it into the weapon as to increase its cutting power. He then uses his chakra to cause the kunai to begin spinning violently, before shooting it at your clone. As it hits, it would disperse your clone in a whisp of smoke.

Description: This is a relatively simple technique that when the user performs the following hand seals Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake they create a sudden gust of wind, but its scale varies greatly depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.

Perform the Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake hand-seals and utilizing your chakra create a strong gust of wind which you use to knock over my clone to the ground. This technique can be used in all range of the battles and especially useful in repelling objects such as kunai, shirukens etc. It can also work against b rank and above lightning techniques.

Counter

For this technique, I would use a B-Rank+ fire jutsu to counter. This is because I could change the flow of battle with it. After the two techniques collide, mine would win and still continue on to hit my opponent. Basically taking me from defensive to offensive.

Combinations

In the description of the technique, it says that this can be used to aid in a fire jutsu, so there is that. To add to this, the technique that I would use would be the ash cloud technique. This is because the wind would up the temp of the ash, plus stir it up, so that when I make it erupt, it would cover a larger area with the explosion.

Performance

Trunks stands mid range from your clone, and concentrates his fuuton chakra by forming the Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake hand seals. He uses nature manipulation to turn this chakra into a powerful gust of wind, which he then sends at your clone. The wind would be strong enough to easily knock him over, if he isn't completely planted to the ground.

Counter

If someone were to use this against me, I would counter with a flame wall technique of some kind. This is because not only would I protect myself due to the elemental advantages, but I could then use the flame wall as a starting point for my own wind jutsu. Basically, it would be both a sword and shield.

Combinations

Since normal wind gust + a fire jutsu = a large fire stream, combining this technique with a fire jutsu would be great. The violently rotating sphere being aided by chakra fueled fire would result in a fast moving, large, and concentrated fire ball.

Performance

Trunks stands mid range from your clone, and channels his fuuton chakra. He concentrates it into his lungs, and uses shape manipulation and compression to release a sphere of win from his mouth. The sphere would race across the terrain, finally knocking your clone over after making contact.

Counter

There is a fire technique that makes fire come out of one of your limbs to aid in taijutsu. I would use this technique to dispel the tornadoes, plus then I would have taijutsu already in motion to hurt my opponent afterward.

Combinations

Well, obviously there's the combo with Running Fire. Aside from that, I could use this with any other fire technique to get the damage boost, or use it with a smoke bomb to make the affected area larger.

Performance

Trunks concentrates his fuuton chakra by forming the Ram hand seal. He releases a gust of wind from his mouth that is layered with high pressure systems and low pressure systems to form numerous tornadoes. The wall of tornadoes would rip down their path and strike your clone, knocking him on his back.

Counter

This could be countered by an earth or water wall of equal rank, but if you were to use a fire technique that uses multiple blast, that would both protect you and go on to attack your opponent, turning the flow of battle.

Combinations

This could be used in any way described in the description, but other than that, this technique could be used to stir up sand or dust to create a cloud of sorts. Other than that, any technique that allows the tornado to retain its physical form would block my opponents sight of me, so that could be helpful as well.

Performance

Trunks stands mid range from your clone, and looks at him intently. He concentrates his fuuton chakra by forming the Tiger → Snake → Ram hand seals, while taking a breath in. He blows out with force, causing a vortex of wind to rip down the gap between the two, knocking him on his back once the two collide.

Use your chakra and create a slicing gust of wind which you use to neutralize my wind attack which i send towards you. Using (Fūton: Gōkūhō) - Wind Release: Great Vacuum Cannon i gather my futon chakra in my lungs and exhale a large sphere of wind towards you. Now use this technique to split the wind.

Counter

The best way to counter this technique would be to bump up the power of the original wind technique you used. Whether that be sending another behind it, or following up with a fire technique, anything would be enough to overpower this defense, and render it useless.

Combinations

I would combine this technique with ninja tools or fire jutsu. That is because if I were to use those, I would be able to turn this defense into defense and offense, which makes it significantly better.

Performance

Trunks stands mid range from you, and prepares himself by channeling his fuuton chakra. He watches intently as you blow the sphere of wind his way, ripping along its path towards him. He uses nature manipulation to convert his chakra into a slicing wind gust that he releases at the wind sphere once it is in range. The result is the attack being sliced through, making it bend around Trunks completely.

Perform the Tiger, Hare and dragon hand-seals. Then focus your chakra in your body and then release it in the form of sharp winds towards that nearby tree and cut it down. *Points at tree*

3.) Cyclones aren't exactly the quickest wind techniques either

Counter

I would counter this technique by using an earth wall of some sort. This is because with it I could both protect myself, and disappear from my opponents sight. This would allow me to 'disappear', so to speak, long enough to launch a surprise attack.

Combinations

Two jutsu come to mind when I think of combos. The first would be any arbitrary fire technique. I would use this because I would turn my wind cyclone into a fire tornado, which is both more damaging and harder to counter. The next would be the technique where you surround your opponent with Cherry Blossoms. This would add more ammunition to the technique, so that they are already enveloped in petals, increasing the damage. Also, it would block their sight of the oncoming cyclone, so that it is more likely to hit.

Performance

Trunks stands mid range from the tree, and performs the three required hand seals to concentrate his fuuton chakra. He then releases this chakra while using nature manipulation to produce very sharp winds that pick up fallen leaves and petals along the way. By the time it reaches the tree, the wind and petals have became a sort of cyclone which strikes the tree with great force, making cuts all around it. After a split second, the tree wavers a bit before coming crashing down beside us.

1. Channel your wind chakra into your hand and release it in form of a wave that slashes those nearby trees.

2. For the second technique grab your sword and then swing it rapidly and repeatedly to create wind currents in the form of a whirlwind. Send this current towards my clone knocking him off his feet.
