Description: A simple technique that when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

Gather wind chakra in an amount larger then any of the previous techniques and focus it into your hands and then as you clap your hands compress the wind chakra between your palms so that as they touch they explode forward as a powerful gale. a common tactic is to do this after throwing tools like shuriken so the wind comes behind them and their piercing power raises due to the increase in speed. It is strong enough to knock an adult off their feet with ease.

I throw 3 kunai at a tree as I compress wind chakra into my hands and then clap, suddenly a powerful wind blast shoots forward and passes by the kunai speeding them up letting the normal kunai pierce the tree deeper then any normal throw would allow.

Strong Points:

-Can be use to increase the piercing power of an regular shuriken or kunai.

-Since you use hands instead of your mouth with this technique, you can use this jutsu to follow up a fire jutsu to make it bigger and stronger.

-Can be used to defend from shurikens and kunais from your opponent.

Weak Points:

-Its a short range jutsu, so you're putting yourself at danger if you're not an experience close range fighter.

-Can be easily defended.

-Useless jutsu if one of your hands gets cut off. =D

Combinations and Strategies: A good combination would be to use this with shadow shuriken jutsu, and then use the Earth Swamp jutsu while your opponent is busy countering the shurikens with a fire jutsu most likely.

Ways to counter: Stay at long range or counter it with a medium wide scale fire jutsu since the shurikens will scattered at a wide scale.

I stand 5 meters from a giant tree. I reached in to my ninja pouch and grabbed three shurikens. Before I threw the shurikens, I gathered and molded a large amount of wind chakra to the palms of my hands. In all of a quick sequence, I compressed the chakra, threw the shurikens, and clapped my hands together to release the gale wind. The force was so powerful, that all three of the shurikens went half in the tree bark.

take out a few shuriken and then infuse wind chakra into them to form a larger version of the shuriken made of wind with the real tool in the middle, then using your control over your chakra you can mentally control the wind to move freely through the air around you and send them to attack people up to mid range away. This was used in one of the movies if I remember correctly, Neji fought the one using it while running through the trees.

I take out 4 shuriken and infuse wind chakra into them forming rotating blades of wind around them the size of a demon windmill shuriken that I control to rotate around me for a while to demonstrate the control before commanding them all to fly at a tree and slice the trunk from several directions at once.

Strong Points:

-You increase the size and cutting power of a regular shuriken.

-Since your chakra is infused in the shuriken, you have total control of where it goes.

-It has the power to cut a tree down, which may be helpful during a fight.

Weak Points:

-Can't go long range.

-I don't like to state the obvious, but its a weak jutsu that can be easily countered.

Combinations and Strategies: This is what I call an diversion attack. You only use it to get your opponent occupied so you can him/her up with a powerful follow up. And about the tree thing again, you can possibly lure your opponent in to a forest and use this jutsu to make the trees trample on him/her.

Ways to counter: A simple fire or wind jutsu should do the job. Its a weak jutsu, so there's not much I could say.

Mad at the fact that Sarutobi had cut down the only tree in the vicinity. I settled on cutting the branches that was sticking in the air from the already cut tree.

I grabbed 5 shurikens from my ninja pouch and then put three in my right hand and the other two in my left. I gathered a huge amount of wind chakra to my hands and apply it to my shurikens. By focusing on the shurikens using my chakra, I was able to make them rise from my hands and levitate in the air. I then expand the compressed wind chakra that was the shurikens to make them the size of a giant windmill shuriken.

I then proceed to direct the shurikens at the tree branches. The shurikens shredded through every single branch and send little scraps of it in the air, which resulted in a huge mess around out training area.

Description: This is a relatively simple technique that when the user performs the following hand seals Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake they create a sudden gust of wind, but its scale varies greatly depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.

A simple idea but the power varies with the user, first perform the Tiger, Ox, Dog, Rabbit and Snake seals *demonstrates* and release your wind chakra outwards to create a strong gust of wind, depending on how hard you try it can blow down huge trees and knock several people off their feet from far away. You can also release it then quickly combine it with a fire technique.

I weave the five hand seals then suddenly a massive blast of wind roars through the training field blowing over several trees through the forest yamato made for us.

-This jutsu is effective from all three ranges(short, medium, long)

-Depending on the shinobi, it has the power to blow your opponent away and bring trees.

-Can be use in conjunction with a fire jutsu to increase damage and speed.

Weak Points:

-You cant reach the jutsu full potential if you're not that skilled in wind.

-It takes five hand seals to perform the jutsu, which gives your opponent an opening for a quick attack.

-Its a C rank, which means it could be easily countered. But that shouldn't discourage you from using it.

Combinations and Strategies: Like you and the description said, you can use this jutsu in conjunction with a fire jutsu. A great use of this jutsu is to use when trying to clear out mist and smoke. If its strong enough to blow down trees, I'm sure its strong enough to clear out thick mist such as Kiri's own mist.

Ways to Counter: Since its a short to longe range jutsu it would be hard to avoid. And to counter it, you must use a wide scale jutsu in order to completely stop it. But that really wont necessary unless you don't want your surroundings to be destroyed. You can also use some type of earth jutsu to make yourself heavier or stay planted on the ground so you can withstand the force.

As the clone involuntarily made more trees. I weaved the hand seals Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake and I gathered a plethora of wind chakra within my lungs. Standing 15 meters away from the newly made trees, I took one deep and pressed my two hands onto my chest as I exhaled the wind. The force of the wind was so strong that the clone had plant some wood coming from him onto the ground. The wind blew down every single tree until there was no more standing at sight.

Now that is what you call....a shinobi strike!

(Fūton: Kamaitachi no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Sickle Weasel Technique

Description: User creates a whirlwind of slicing wind. Originally used by Temari with her fan, there is a way to create this jutsu without a weapon. Performing quickly handseals, the user will gather his Fuuton chakra into the lungs to blow out a sharp gust of wind, which in conjunction with the handseals will create a gust of violent slashing wind. The wind created is strong enough to push the opponent back or create 2 inch deep slashes to his body, however the user cannot direct slashes.

Perform a few quick hand seals *demonstrates* and gather another large amount of wind chakra into your lungs and instead of forceful explosion of wind like the last technique you want to add more sharpness, imaging rubbing your chakra into a fine sharp blade like before. It'll be another wide spread technique but the wind will be able to cut deeply into someone at the sacrifice of some range.

I weave a few seals as I inhale deeply then release a wide blast of wind that cuts the trees all over from the numerous invisible blades of wind mixed into the gust of air.

-The slashing wind is strong enough to leave 2 inch deep wounds onto the target's body.

-If I'm reading this right then its possible to use this jutsu without the hand seals, but it would be just a sharp gust of wind and not a gust of violent winds which creates the 2 inch deep slashes.

-It could reach up to mid range.

Weak Points:

-You cant direct the slashes.

-Must perform hand seals for the jutsu to reach its full potential.

Combinations and Strategies: I would this as a follow up after I throwing a few shurikens at my opponent. My opponent would think I'm using the wind to increase the power and speed of my shurikens. He/she would then pay no attention to the sharp winds that hides within the gust. They would most likely use a small scale fire jutsu just to get rid of the shurikens and let the gust hit which we know is a big mistake.

Ways to Counter: An earth user can make an earth dome to protect themselves or they can counter it by using a wide scale wind or fire jutsu.

I stand 5 meters away from the trees as I face them. I weave a few hand seals as I gather wind chakra in my lungs. I then once again press my hands onto my chest to help me exhale the wind faster so it could come out sharp. I exhaled as hard as I can and in result, I made several slashes on the front portion of the forest of trees. I almost cut down a few trees in half. I had to catch my breath as I blew to hard and almost used all my chakra.

Description: The users gathers his Fuuton chakra into the lungs to blow out a sphere of air at his target that can blow backwards the opponent and small objects around him.

Gather wind chakra into your lungs and as you exhale condense it all into a sphere instead of wide spread gusts or gales using shape manipulation. The ball of wind is strong enough to knock people and small objects around.

I take a deep breath then release a condensed ball of wind at a tree that slams into it shaking the tree and those surrounding it badly as the leaves are stripped from the branches by the wind pressure exploding outwards as the ball hits the trunk.

Strong Points:

-Unlike all the wind jutsus we went through so far, this one is more of attack 'target' jutsu instead of attack 'area' jutsu. Which would apply more damage since its focusing on one target.

-Strong enough to send an opponent back if you need to create some space and if fighting close range is not your thing.

-If you're able to create a sphere big enough to attack a large summon, then that would another strong point.

Weak Points:

-Since its not wide scale, its easy to avoid the attack.

- I'm pretty sure it takes time to form the sphere, especially if you're making a big one(if that is allowed).

-Can not reach long range.

Combinations and Strategies: It would have been cool if you were able to blow out multiple spheres rapidly, but that is not how an actual cannon works, so I understand that part. So one way to go around is to create multiple shadow clones and make them use this jutsu to attack the target.

Ways to Counter: Would a chakra charged taijutsu kick be strong enough to disperse this jutsu without leaving damage on the target's leg? If so, then that would be the best thing to do without wasting jutsu slot.

I once again stand 5 meters away from the forest of trees. I then gathered some wind chakra into my lungs and exhaled the wind through my mouth. As the wind was exiting my mouth, I manipulate the wind to form a sphere. The sphere slam into the tree with a loud thud and left a deep circle shape mark on the tree.

That break sure did help me.

Depends, if you coat yourself in an Earth armor of some kind of B rank or above it should allow you to disperse it the wind without harm, but your average ninja would just get blasted back from the wind. You'll learn to make bigger wind balls later but this one won't affect a large summon like Gamabunta or Hanzo's Salamander.

Release a gust of wind and use shape manipulation to form several small tornadoes. If you have Fire training you can follow it up and ignite the tornadoes and the wind will draw it up and form a massive flaming hurricane.

-The tornadoes can be used as a defense to protect you from oncoming attacks.

-Can be be used in conjunction with the jutsu " Fire Release: Running Fire"

-Is short range.

-You can accidently suck in paper bombs that your opponent threw at you which he could then activate since it is chakra controlled.

Combinations and Strategies: Like the description said, you it with the fire jutsu mentioned to increase the damage. I was wondering if you're able to move the tornadoes, but if that was possible, the range would have said Short-Long.

Ways to Counter: It would be hard to defend if you're within close range, and by the description, the tornadoes seem to be created as soon as you blow out the gust of wind. Best luck is counter with a water jutsu just in case he/she combines it with the fire.

I gather and release a gust of wind to the air. I manipulated the wind to create several tornadoes in a horizontal line at my height. After a minute of controlling the tornadoes successfully, I canceled the jutsu and turned to Sarutobi.

I cant wait until I start training in fire so I could that combo.

weave the Tiger, Snake and Ram seals and then release your chakra to create a vortex of wind that is directed at the target. If you had Fire and Earth training this could lead to a 3 element combo, trapping them in Earth Release: Earth Corridor, making the wind then quickly igniting it with Fire Release: Running Fire. Creating an inferno within the earth construct.

knowing you don't have the ability to perform the full combo I simply weave the 3 seals and create the vortex of wind aiming it at some trees, devastating them until it runs out of energy.

Strong Points:

-Since its a vortex, it gains speed as it spins towards the target, but would lose its size if it travel any further than mid range.

-Its more powerful since its focusing all of its onto one target.

-It goes great with 'Running Fire' and 'Earth Corridor'.

Weak Points:

-It gets weaker as it pass mid range.

-It requires hand seals.

-A tunnel vision like jutsu, so its easy to dodge.


Combinations and Strategies: I like the fact that on some of these jutsus tell you a good combo to use with the jutsu, but it takes away the imagination of other ways to use this jutsu. So people will just spam this combo in a situation where they could made up a better one.

Ways to Counter: Counter with Fire or Wind jutsu blah blah blah blah. This part is getting really redundant. XD

I stand just 3 meters in front of a medium size tree. I gather and molded a decent amount of wind chakra within my lungs. I weaved the hand seals Tiger → Snake → Ram and exhales a blast of wind. I manipulated the wind as it exits my mouth to spin around rapidly to create the vortex. Not only did I knock down the tree that was in front of me, the tree knock into the tree directly behind it and created a domino effect within the forest of trees.

The clone looked at me and gave me the scary yamoto stare of fear.

also the ways to counter thing is more of the specific mechanics of each jutsu not just blanket "use the element it is weak vs" replies, they are easy and uncreative but for example any blades of wind jutsu you could dodge or cut or counter with your own wind blade rather then just shoot a fire ball at it.

Oh look, blades of wind O_O focus wind chakra into your right hand and swipe towards your target like a claw. You can do up to three blades back to back by quickly swinging your hand back and forth and the best part they are controllable once they leave your hand so the opponent has no other option but to block with armor or destroy the blades, if they don't know it is remote controllable you can seemingly miss a blade or two and redirect it to them from behind or the sides.
But also remember that the more blades you make the weaker they are, you are just dividing up the chakra and damage into multiple attacks or you could make one blade that is C rank strength.

I focus wind chakra to my right hand and then swing my arm back and forth three times, each swing releases a blade of wind cutting through three different trees.

-Can cut through any material(wood, rocks, chakra)

-Can launch three at a rapid-fire, successive motion.

-Can be controlled by the users' will and thoughts.


Weak Points:

Combinations and Strategies: Can be use to cut the chakra strings to separate the puppet master from their puppets. And since elemental jutsu=concentrated chakra, its a good way to stop the Hyuga's Rotation jutsu.

Ways to Counter: Its a C rank jutsu, so its easy to counter but it must be quick since its close range.

I told the clone to create a thick trunk try so I could test out how good is this jutsu cutting power. I stood 5 meters in front of the tree, I then gathered a huge of wind chakra into my right hand. As I swipe my hand in downward diagonally motion crossing my body, I used my will to make the wind as sharp as possible as it left my hand. I was in awe when I saw the top part of the tree got cleanly cut from its base.

Wow, I most definitely will be using this jutsu a lot in my future battles.

good, so many people forget about low rank jutsu as they get stronger but the lower rank ones do have their use, the speed and ease of use for this one makes it very good.

focus some wind chakra and create a condensed slicing gust that can split another wind jutsu in two to neutralize it, can work on any other C rank or below wind jutsu to render it harmless.

I concentrate my wind chakra to my lungs as I inhale and have the yamato clone fire a C rank wind jutsu at me. As it comes at me I exhale the wind as a sharp gust of wind that cuts through it leaving the wind to harmlessly disperse in mid air near me (as this is only short range)

Combinations and Strategies: This jutsu would be way more better if the rank vary based on you experience with wind. For example, If you completed B rank wind jutsu, then you should be able to a defend against B rank and below wind jutsu. And of course you will add the necessary restrictions for it.

Ways to counter: Use a wind jutsu of B rank or above to over power the move.

I ordered the clone to fire a C rank wind jutsu at. The clone stood 5 meters from and used Wind Release: Great Vacuum Cannon. As he did does that. I gather enough wind within my lungs and exhale it as the sphere gets closer. The sharp gust of wind from my jutsu canceled out the clone's Great Vacuum Cannon and disperse in the air.

Description: This technique after performing the required hand seals Tiger → Hare → Dragon allows the user to summon a cyclone of petals to attack their opponent. The user can remain in one spot for the use of the technique, because he or she can direct it anywhere they desire. Therefore, the user can increase the direction and power of the technique to the maximum as a last resort.

perform the Tiger, Hare and Dragon seals and release your chakra to summon a cyclone of petals (based on a low rank ninjutsu that does something similar) mixed with your wind chakra, you can control the cyclone to attack far away and also add more chakra into it to increase the power slightly if needed.

I weave the 3 seals and a cyclone of petals materializes near me the petals seemingly fading into the air from nothing and form a tornado I direct to attack more trees. After it has torn down a few I focus more chakra into it and the cyclone grows in power and devastates the rest of the trees standing, the wind mixed with the petals then disperse afterwards leaving a huge mess of flower petals and destroyed trees.

I stand 20 meters away from the forest so I would have a less chance of completely tearing down every single tree. I perform the hand seals Tiger → Hare → Dragon and released my wind chakra to create a giant cyclone. The pedals then materialized inside the the cyclone. I made the cyclone move like a slithering snake until hit its first tree and then went 5 more. I canceled the jutsu before it causes anymore destruction.
