Combinations and Strategies: Just like every other wind jutsu, you combine it with fire to increase the damage.


Ways to counter: A basic earth or fire defense should do the trick since this is just a regular C rank wind jutsu.

I draw my own sword and channel wind chakra along the blade and then swing it horizontally, as the blade is swung a whirlwind leaps off of it and rages forward.

also, do you have a fan of some kind? Gunbai, giant folding fan etc

Hmmmm, it feels good. It almost make me want to become a samurai. Lol

I gathered wind chakra to my right hand and channeled it into the sword. Since I'm inexperience with kenjutsu, I hold the blade with both of my hands to get better control of it. I brought back the blade behind my back and swung it forward diagonally and let loose a gust of wind at the wide open space.

Cool but I rather be a shinobi. U_U

if you have a giant fan or folding fan this is just infusing wind chakra into it and swinging it but if you don't you perform two hand seals *demonstrates* and mold wind chakra into your lungs and then release the wind from your mouth and using shape manipulation make it rotate into a disk of cutting wind.

I form the two hand seals as I inhale then release the wind forming a large spinning disk of wind that cuts through a tree with ease.

-You can still do this jutsu without the giant fan.

I tell the wood clone to create a tree away from the forest so I don't cut down more that I want to. Since I don't wield a giant fan I had perform the two necessary hand seals to do execute this jutsu successfully. I gathered wind chakra within my lungs as I performed the two hand seals. Simultaneously as I exhaled the wind, I used shape manipulation to craft the wind into a sharp spinning disk that resembles a demon wind shuriken. I positioned the disk to cut the tree diagonally in the middle because it looked cool.

First strike your opponent into the air (with either a giant fan or another weapon or a taijutsu attack) then follow up by releasing a blast of wind to push them away from you, this simple one-two combo can set them up for a good finisher.

As a clone run towards me and throws a punch at me I thrust my right palm upwards striking the underside of his arm knocking the punch upwards opening his torso where I follow up with a powerful kick to the gut to send him off the ground a few feet. Once he was off the ground I release a blast of wind from my mouth sending the clone flying away a good distance.

-You use your wind to blast your target back.

-Its good for creating space between you and your opponent.

-Can still perform the jutsu without the fan.


Weak Points:

-Its short range

-Can't knock your opponent into the air without the fan.

Combinations and Strategies: While your opponent is still in the air, you can combine the gust of wind with a fire jutsu.


Ways to Counter: To prevent the knock into the air part, just avoid it with a logical taijutsu counter. Then counter the gust of wind part (if you didnt blocked the first part) with a fire or wind jutsu.

After I was finishing pondering on how I was gonna get a giant fan, I got in position and stared right in to the eyes of the clone. I ordered the clone to come at me with my arms spread out to each side. The clone came in with a right hook coming for my temple. I ducked and came up with a mean uppercut to his chin that sent the clone a few feet backwards in the air.

I quickly gathered some wind chakra into my lungs and exhaled it all at once to create a huge gust of wind. The wind sent the clone flying and disperse as it hit the floor.

Check Sunagakure, desert people are desperate for dem corner workers so they'll pay extra :devil: plus you can buy the giant fans there once you are done.

Us, being non-fan owning peasants, string two seals together and release your wind chakra to create a blast of wind (non-cutting) up to mid range in your chosen direction.

I perform the two hand seals and then exhale a powerful blast of wind pulling several large rocks from the terrain from the pressure as it flies forward.

I walked to one of the tress until I was directly underneath it. I looked up at the tree and performed two hand seals to release a a huge gust of wind from my mouth. The gust of wind tore off over half of the leaves from the tree and took some branches with it too.

I inhale as I mold my chakra and exhale at the damaged tree from your last attack, the tornado finishes off the tree and tears up a few more near it.

Bonus: Can you think of any combos you would use in a battle with someone of your level of training/experience using what you have learned in Wind so far? say you are in a fight where you can only use ninja tools, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Ninjutsu and Wind (up to C so far) vs someone with the same restrictions, how would you fair and open the battle with?

Combinations and Strategies: This jutsu is the same as Gale Palm but instead you use your mouth and it also have more range. So you can basically do the same combos as Gale Palm but better.


Ways to Counter: Same as always. (Sorry for this lazy reply, but I couldn't think of anything different from the obvious.)

Bonus: My opponent and I are at mid range. I will start with throwing a smoke bomb to conceal myself from my opponent. I'll then use the shadow shuriken technique and use that as a distraction. I'll proceed by using the wind stream technique and shoot myself in the air. Then I'll finish with violent whirlwind. (of course this is not how I would word it when I'm in a actual battle. I'm just giving you the outline of moves I would use for my opening attack.

I stand 8 meters in front of a random tree. I gather a huge amount of wind chakra within my lungs. As I exhaled, I molded the wind into a whirlwind as it comes out my and heads for tree in front of me. Pieces of wood tore off from the bark at first contact and then the rest of the tree falls apart.

Take your sword in hand and flow wind chakra through the blade and release it as you swing the sword and release the chakra around your body so that it can push off things covering you (for example, mud, dust, water)

Yamato's clone walks over with a bucket and dumps mud on me (-_-) he then returns to the side of the field to avoid our training techniques.

I then take my sword from it's sheath and channel my wind chakra into it and swing the blade horizontally, the wind chakra explodes from my skin and causes the mud to fly off of me leaving me (mostly) clean.

Hold up there clone. Before you go pouring mud over my 24 karat gold Afro, let me go put on my fish net.

Narrator: Yes, you heard right. Because Bo-bobo outlandish 24 karat gold Afro is bigger than the average disco ball, he had to use a fish to wrap up his legendary fro.

After I was finished wrapping up my Afro until it was completely covered, I signaled the clone to proceed to pour mud on top of my fro. I unsheathed the sword Sarutobi gave to me earlier and channeled my wind chakra into it. Just like Sarutobi, I swing the sword horizontally and a huge amount of wind released from around my body and removed all the mud from my head.

OOC: So why do we need the sword for this jutsu if the wind comes out of your body?

for a weak point you need the sword to perform so if you get disarmed you can't use it at all.

well it starts on the sword and unravels around you so the swing of the sword is the method of forming the chakra into the whirlwind that can strip stuff off your skin without harming you, however later you'll learn something that'll replace it without the sword making this very situational.

take out a weapon, kunai for example and mold wind chakra in your lungs and breath it out onto the blade of the weapon and use your free hand to shape the wind into a sword like shape, condense enough chakra to form a sword capable of impaling someone.

Alternatively take out a thrown weapon like a shuriken (kunai also works for both) and condense it around the weapon and increase the range of your throw and the wind will naturally increase its cutting power.

I take out two kunai, first demonstrating the throwing style and infusing wind chakra from my mouth onto it and controlling the chakra to wrap around the kunai and throw it at a tree, the kunai easily punches through several trees until we can no longer see it.

I then take a breath and exhale more chakra onto the 2nd kunai, using my other hand to flow the chakra into a sword shape turning the kunai into a wind sword. I then dash as a tree and slash through a tree with ease.

Combinations and Strategies: If you're a shinobi like me who don't possess a sword, you take out a regular kanai and make your own sword made out of wind. Could use the sword to cut through lightning or wind techs.

Question: Would the wind sword last for the whole turn or will it go away after just one use(such as slashing something)?

Ways to Counter: Since the tools have wind shrouded around them, fire jutsus will render them useless.

I select one kunai from my ninja pouch with my right hand and hold it out infront of me. I gathered up wind chakra within my lungs and exhaled it onto the kunai as I manipulate and condense the wind chakra to take the shape of a sword. To test out if I condensed the chakra good enough, I charged towards a tree and slash through it. The tree fell to my right side behind me and made a loud thud.

I inhale as I mold wind chakra then exhale a stream of wind, as it leaves my mouth and gets a small distance away it starts twisting in a spiral and forms into a twister, blowing away several large rocks.

since we don't have a giant fan around, form these 4 seals *demonstrates* and shape your wind chakra into a minor tornado that wraps around the opponent and cuts them badly until the tornado dies out. I believe this was used on Temari in a filler where some filler ninja with special weapons fought the sand siblings (a guy with chakra armor fought Gaara, Temari fought a girl with a sword and Kankuro fought a guy with a mace or whatever)

I perform the four hand seals and a tornado forms around a training dummy and pulls it out of the ground, holding it in mid air from the wind pressure as multiple deep slash wounds are left.

Sorry didn't notice XD the wind would only go away once you've either canceled it or used it to deflect a fire jutsu which would eat up the wind, just using it to fight a swordsmen or deflect shuriken for example would let you use it as long as you want as it doesn't state a turn limit.

If I remember correctly, this was used on Temari in a filler episode where the sand siblings fought 3 filler villains with special weapons.

I perform the four seals and a tornado is formed around a training dummy that yanks it's post from the ground and keeps it held in mid air from the wind pressure as several deep wounds are left all over it until the wind dies down and the nearly torn apart dummy is dropped to the ground.
