[Discussion] Will Boruto manga be canon.

Hello everyone. I have a question about the Boruto manga. WIll it be canon or not? Since Naruto is over, I don't know if it will be a valid continuation of the story

Yes it is canon. Kishi is writing it and has confirmed it as Part 3. However he also confirmed it will be a mini series, so only expect it to last a maximum of 24 chapters [3 complete manga books]

I personally don't think it will be canon to Naruto unless the power levels and feats are kept the same.

It's a mini series so probably not, don't get high hopes for it.

I will only read it if it has action. The ending of Naruto was pretty bad for me, not expecting a good story here

Well anything having to do with Itachi's past is going to be a contradiction, as his timeline is forever inaccurate and contradicted, even in the manga.

No it doesn't. I don't watch the anime at this point. But I'm pretty sure The Last is the only case where this kind of thing happens. SP itself just make adaptations to the manga.

If he however does at least declare whatever's in the anime cannon, then I would go with it. Even if it sounds retarded.
