Freedom of speech...
The world is in a really bad economical siruation, and USA is still spending incredible amounts of money, if they wanted to, they could pull out of this war, stop the spending, and stop spending so much money on being the police of the world, as they try to be. They have no rights to judge other countries, when they have so many internal problems, an example is the mosque they are willing to build on ground Zero.

Just so you know, there are a few things wrong with you... and your argument.

You say freedom of speech, which by my recollection was an American idea that allowed for the people of its country to not be oppressed vocally, religiously, or in the way they wanted to express themselves. As they had been in the countries that they had come from, and how the Brits were still trying to do to the colonies.
The US could have pulled out of Afghanistan earlier, that is true. But at what cost? The fact that they went in and destroyed the internal political structure made it impossible for them to just up and leave without first handing over the keys to the country to the Taliban. What the US should have done was spend its vast amounts of money to fund programs such as "Pennies for Peace" or just straight out fund the CAI (Central Asia Institute) with all of the money that they ended up putting into the army. That would have been the smarter thing to do. But Republicans are idiots that profit from the loss of others these days.
America has every right to judge other countries, they can pass judgment on whomever they want when ever they want. That is what makes them as powerful of an ally, or opponent as they are. If you take away that ability, you might as well change their name to Iceland while you're at it, because that's is how influential they would become. (no offense to Iceland)
Finally, as Rag said only more blunt, you are dumb! The only people that actually believe someone is trying to build a mosque as "ground zero" are morons, who have more time to stick their thumbs up their asses then they do to actually ask someone who knows. Though even if they did want to build a mosque at "ground zero" it would only be replacing the one that was destroyed in the first tower anyways. The Taliban, and Al-Qaeda burn more Korans, and break more Islamic laws than any other religion combined, and those other religions don't even follows the Islamic laws. That attack was not about religious beliefs, it was about fear.

That is one arrogant statement.

The fact the US tries to police the world doesnt mean they have a right to.
It is that attitude what makes the the muslim extremist hate the US...that and the continued support for the state of Israel.

Somebody said that you cant blame the US alone for the worlds problems..but that doesnt take away the fact that the US is responsible for most.
The financial crisis started in the US, it was the US who started the war in Afghanistan and Iraq...resulting in allmost more then a god knows how many casualties.
Alltough other countries may have their own problems it is no where near the shitpile these last 8 years of Bush has caused.
So i say...You wanna be the leading country in the world fix everybodies problems fine, but then you gotta owe up to the mess you made and not try to point the blame somewhere else so you dont look as bad.

And the wikileaks situation only proves that governments(not just the US) will go to extreme lenghts to remain in power and not let their dirty secrets get out.
This situation alone should be enough for people to stand up and demand answers, but the majority is still happy to have a roof over their heads and a bar to go to on weekends, so why care about issues that one man alone cant do nothing about, right??
What wikileaks is doing is the best ting since sliced bread but i wonder whether this will actually go somehwere or that it will blow over in a few years and we'll all go on with our lives.

Its bullshit...nothing's gonna change....a criminal will be a criminal and an innocent will be an innocent....all its doing is firing the war..slowly... And creating more problems for many countries....what's this about..??no one gonna accept their wrong deeds...and why not...?? Cauz they have reasons one on another... Even if they have wrong reasons they will stick to it and never accept that they were wrong indeed...it will only cauz trouble for normal people who have nothing to do with this....ya cant pass judgment on your president....atleast not in my country...!!! u_u
