[Discussion] Why you say Vergo is the 2nd strongest DD member?

Indeed. I countered those arguments countless time already, yet he keep repeating the same thing since last year. It's like just because Vergo(one of the seats) beat the crap out of Sanji/Smoker without going all out, now they want to underhype any of the other seats as much as possible just to make their favorite look better. And when they can't counter an argument, they start pulling off insults or accusing others to be fanboys. In reality in this section i've noticed that Zoro has more haters than fanboys. It becomes ridiculous minutes by minutes to try to underplay everything or every opponents he gets just for the sake of it

OT: It has more sense Vergo was sent to stop Law coz he had proven before he cld but sadly Doffy overestimated sm1 or underestimated Law's growth after his defeat.

As for why Vergo was chosen for the spy mission, well its more sense to send sm1 who can blend in with what u want to infiltrate and looking at Pica then remembering his squeaky voice he wldn't b the inconspicuous type really(who wld u send Zoro or Sanji for a spy mission- not Zoro I'm sure but he is the stronger one ain't he?) Not to add that each seat has already been revealed to excell in something and that's what their army does, so its clear Doffy just evaluates his subordinates and sends the ones with the necessary abilities to accomplish the job with the least effort(genarally send the one who specializes with that kinda job)

With Vergo now officially revealed to having had been a seat up untill his spy mission(probably) its clearer that generally they are in the same league so as to who is stronger we shall see when Pica gives his all.

I was gonna respond to Boggy with this, but I think I'll make a general thread: The Oni Take might do more damage to Pica than the 1080 Pound Phoenix did. I say this because the 1080 Pound Phoenix's power is spread, due to the size of the attack, only a part of it hits Pica, so only a part the attack's immense power slices Pica. Most of the attack would slice into the ground and air, so it's not like the full power of the 1080 Pound Phoenix is hitting Pica, while Oni Take is a blow that directs all of the impact into the person exactly because of its small size. While 1080 Pound Phoenix might carry far more power throughout it all, most of the that wouldn't even touch Pica, so it all comes down to how much power the part that actually touches Pica has, and we can't calculate that off of the one usage, so it comes down to not being able to say what exactly would do more damage to Pica.

This analogy of yours just proves that OT is more effective than 1080pC against Pica but that doesn't mean that OT is a stronger attack. It means that he's smarter or has good experience and skill in the field of spying or he has more knowledge than others in this particular field.
No need to mention they are no suitable for such a task and their personalities are wired and are no normal where as Vergo is can suites very well for such a task.

Because you don't need to send your strongest subordinate in an opposing force where all you want for him is to give you informations about them. You always need your strongest men around you. Because the role of spy has close to nothing to do with strength. You can be the strongest man in the world, yet a pitful spy

Just look at their personalities. Their personalities conflict with being a spy. Vergo has a quirk just like them but it is much more muted and he seems far more normal. Pica is too quick to temper and I probably shouldn't have to go into why Diamante and Trebol seem downright bonkers.

We've seen a bit of his endurance and strength but i agree we don't know the full extent of his capacities yet. Same goes for the other seats as well. I could even argue that Diamante for example has better hype than Vergo
