Why people say that? Pica shits on him and Pica is an island buster and he is fighting Zoro(who is obviously is more powerful than Vergo)
So that should be a clear indication that Pica is stronger

Vergo has been showcased to be significantly different than the other elite executives - Being Doflamingo's oldest friend, his right hand man etc... not to mention the whole logic that Pica must be stronger because he fights Zoro is pure fail.

For one I actually think Vergo was stronger than Zoro, Vergo made Sanji look like a chump and I doubt the gap between Sanji and Zoro is that big than Zoro could beat someone who could have mid diff Sanji.

Secondly Law and Smoker both battled against Vergo two characters I personally see stronger than Zoro.

Pica talked big, and then proceeded to get embarrassed. Chinjao and Elizabello easily managed to break his punch.

Luffy alone destroyed the head and be wasn't going all out. The scale of his power means nothing since four people have made his scale mean nothing.

If you honestly think Pica beats everyone on that island alone.... Re-evaluate your observation of One Piece.




1. Vergo has displayed better Haki than most people in the manga. Certainly more than Zoro or Pica.

2. Yes Doflamingo's oldest and most reliable ally obviously excluding Corazon.

3. He destroyed Sanji, and I'm sorry to say, Zoro does not destroy Sanji.

5. Vergo has displayed Rokushiki which is then amplified by Haki. At least Geppo, Shigan, and arguably Soru considering even Tashigi and pre-Skip Coby could use it. Meaning maneuverability wise he's already outclassing Zoro who is easily pacing with Pica.

It's a battle of quality vs quantity. Pica can destroy a large range or terrain. But the quality of Vergo's small class attacks out place him.

If we want to match up fights between DD and the Strawhat alliance

Luffy vs DD

Law vs Vergo

Zoro vs Pica

Law simply fight his real fight on Punk Hazard. Before you argue Law vs Trebol.... He one shot Trebol. That wasn't even a fight.

Law fought Vergo and that is cleary known why. That Zoro fighting the second strongest doesn't apply here because Oda added Law into it, aka the man that is the strongest with Luffy together.

I'm not sure who is stronger between Vergo and Pica, but what i'm sure about is that Zoro is at least as strong as Vergo if not stronger. Even if we assume that Vergo is stronger, the elite officers aren't portrayed to be far from each other and especially not Vergo and Pica. If Vergo was that vastly stronger than Pica(or the other elite executives), he would have been Doflamingo's right hand man and latest chapter says again that he never had a right hand man and the only right hand man he waited for(during decades) is Law.

So considering Doflamingo views them to be at around the same level, that Doflamingo thought Diamante could handle Luffy(that he thought had greater potential than Law during Punk Hazard), considering that Pica was the elite executive that Viola feared the most, all that makes me think that at the absolute most, Vergo would win against an executive on Pica level with around high/extreme difficulty if at all. And Zoro at the moment seems to imply that he can defeat Pica without difficulty(though i guess we could wait for the conclusion to be sure), but if he really does can mid diff Pica, it would mean to me that he is simply stronger than Vergo. To be safe though, i just put them on the same level at the moment with giving Zoro the slight edge portrayal-wise

I'm pretty certain it had more to do with the size of the room than Law's haki. He used a mountain size room for a reason
