Hiruzen has Enma to fight against Mokuton. He has Extremely powerful fire release to fight against pollen and wood release, Hiruzen can just use reaper death seal for draw if he has to.

ok. comes down to rds i see. and if he uses it on a mokuton clone then?

Hashirama got more chakra,lifeforce,can heal,strong body,can make clones that only madara can tell apart,darkness genjutsu,Advent of a World of Flowering Trees,Nativity of a World of Trees,Great Forest Technique, and more we havent seen - though hiruzen got more we havent seen too but nothing ive seen or heard can win + hashirama also uses water + earth release + the scroll with forbiden techs ...(same to assume he got taught some seals by his wife)

name me all you have heard about hiruzen and how he will overpower hashirama
also he got less chakra and cant heal (havent seen him heal) its safe to assume he will get tired first and if he got hurt he will be at a big dissadvantage ...if he hurt hashi ..he can heal it without handseals so catching him while he heals wont be an option

Pollen < fire (hiruzen fan said -he will spin around spewing fire everywhere)

this fight would end up being won by enduarance and hashirama would outlast hiruzen + heal most blows taken ..unless his head is cut off dont think that would be easy ...if hiruzen if hurt then its pretty much almost over

Why argue with Hashirama fans? They know more about the manga than the manga itself. That's how insanely knowledgeable these people are.

all i see is hiruzen already beat hashirama ..that fight doesnt count it was ...just shouldnt count

Where other clans focused on mastering one particular skill, the Senju were masters in all skills, from ninjutsu, to taijutsu, to genjutsu.

Hiruzen was mortal when he fought the first and second - people are forgetting that the edo's are zombies with what seems like unlimited chakra and cannot be killed. Madora is boasting that the only one that can stop him was the first but thats not true the Kages already killed him like twice (they blew a hole in his chest) but because he is immortal he gets to keep talking trash. Also the Edo Madora is powered up with the power of the first so yet again he is able to brag about powers that are not really his. - bottom line susuno takes chakra and without the edo and the power of the first he would have already killed himself trying to fight the 5 Kages - so back to the point of this thread - could the third beat the first? if kishi says so then why not - If Hiruzen was in his prime and the first wasn't immortal why not -

You cannot compare an edo tense to a living shinobi - the powers the edo's poses are misrepresentative of the strength they actually had when they were living. Without the fear of death and the unlimited chakra just about any shinobi would be a worthy opponent.

Since it completely seals off the ceiling and the ground

1st. Orochimarus Edos perfected just like Kabutos
Its just that he needed to use the seals to control them like Kabuto, Kabuto had more ways he could control them

So they would be on the same level

2nd. The cage does not have holes on the top or bottom

Only bars on the side, even in that form Enma can manifest his hand back to grab Hashirama by the neck
