First of all, horrible person doesn't necessarily have to be a murderer or anything like that. Horrible person can be judged on his behaviour, which you can interpret as an asshole. Neji was an asshole towards his friends and teamates. Lee wasn't and also, that was part of the match which Gaara tried to kill Lee, so Lee has all the rights to defend himself.​

Yes, the destiny concept in his clan made him that way, so he is justified. But none of the less, it doesn't take away his disrespectful attitude. Either way, you get the point. Are you serious? Gaara tried to kill Lee when he said ''we didn't have enough blood''.​

Gaara was a psycho and tried to kill Lee.. quite understandable. In Neji's case, he had already won the fight against Hinata and still tried to kill her cos she told him the damn truth. At that point, it had nothing to do with the fight but what Hinata said about him suffering more than her(the truth)... the fact that he tried to kill her after knowing he's won and that Hinata couldn't even move makes him the jerkest douche in the history of anime and manga in my opinion.

Part 1 neji was awesome, was my absolute favorite character then, but in shippuden i saw him so little i guess that faded and then in the war started coming back he dies.

He cared for his team he just believed in destiny, i'm sure neji would have wished that was not his friends destinys as he saw it, but being brought up with such a mentality he did not want to see them get disappointed seeking to achieve things he thought with that mindset to be impossible

Honestly part 1 neji had issues i could understand why he was the way he was and why he would harbour such feelings to the branch family. I felt so bad for him n ugh the end of the kidomaru fight was one of my fav neji scenes when the feather landed in his hand T_T

Also I agree it was a fight and noone should be upset he decked Hinata, he told her what would happen if she fought so she should be a ninja enough to take the ass whoop.

Shino ripped Zaku's arms for what? Nothing. Still it was an injury which can end a shinob's life.

He was right, time after time he have only witnessed the fact that people can not defy their destiny.
That was just another time he saw it, Lee losing no matter his efforts are. It is not like he was so happy over his ways of belief being established once again.

Yes i agree, he was not an uncaring individual and did what a ninja would, winning the fight.
