Why naruto is still a genin

Naruto is gonna get promoted alright.... that's for sure... maybe from genin to Hokage.... maybe tsunade may activate her seal and get permenantly affected by it and the council may make him the Hokage........

The only reason he isn't a chunnin yet is because they are in the middle of a great ninja war right now. I'm sure afterward they would promote him or something. I wondered why they didn't make Sasuke a Chunnin, Because I remember the on guy saying that he was chunnin strength during the Chunnin exams. Sasuke didn't leave right away, so why wasn't he chunnin?

Don't forget when tsunade was in her coma naruto was actually amongst the candidates to become kage so if they HAD chosen him to be next kage he would of been!!

I remember that, But then they said he was too young, then another person defended him by saying "so was Minato". But I don't think Naruto would like doing all that paperwork.

I think so, but he hates work, so he would probably quit after the first two days of being Hokage. Have you played Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3?

they didn't pick them by who won the fight but by the skills shown during the fight...shikamaru didn't win his fight but he still became a chunin and was the only one who did at that time

I would have thought tsunade would have ranked him up the chunin exam is just a test of strength and skill he clearly has both in excess so tsunade should have ranked him up
