Why naruto is still a genin

I can already imagine him being the orochimaru of that exam owning everyone, but knowing naruto the no.1 ninja of surprises he'll probably come late again because on the way hes gonna meet the kids and commence talk no jutsu until hes nearly late well IMO =)

naruto's level as a ninja far exceeds that of a chunin or jounin even anbu, so naruto having the tittle of genin really doesn't effect naruto's current status of a kage

does everyone here have to spell it out? theres a war going on, so stopping things for him to take a stupid exam that he could complete in an instant is pointless. Besides, at this point the rankings dont exactly matter, gennin or not, he kicks ass. Becoming a chunnin wouldnt exactly make tobi or madara more afraid of naruto, so whats the point. The only time the rank actually mattered was during the exams way back in the first series.

he's still a genin because he still acts like a child...it takes more to be a chunnin or jounin then just being strong you must also have a brain why do you think shikamaru and neji made it? because they think before acting while naruto still runs into battle before thinking things through

Doesn't really matter does it? No one's looking at him as a genin-he's a hero, and everyone knows his faaar beyond genin. And besides, it's war and noone cares which rank you are, as long as u fight good and Naruto, with bee, is the ace of the alliance against akatsuki.
