Why naruto is still a genin

This thread is interesting LOL. After the war, I can see Naruto making a clone to pass the Chunnin and Jounin level exams while he eats ramen or takes a nap under a tree in the stadium. LOL.

He is the strongest genin i know in entire ninja world.Why tsunade dont want to make him a chunin or jounin :shrug: .

The chunin exams were about to start around the time Naruto returned to the village as Shikamaru and Temari were preparing it but Gaara was captured and the chunin exam wasnt brought back up. I don't think Naruto has to take part in the chunin exam because the whole point of the chunin exam is to evaluate if a ninja has the quality of a chunin. Shikamaru gave up in the chunin exam but his smarts was compared to a general by asuma and many ninjas took knowledge of it. Tsunade made shikamaru a chunin even tho she didn't see what he can do, just off what other ninjas said about him. Tsunade knows what Naruto is capable of so she will promote him eventually. Other Kages could have a say as well, the Kages picked Kakashi to be Hokage at the Kage's summit and konoha was going to go with it until Tsunade woke up from coma.

Officially, he's still a genin because he never graduated the chunin exams. He's been too busy doing just about everything else to become a chunin, and at this point, he's obviously Hokage level in terms of power and ability.

The only reason why he wouldn't be made a chunin, jounin, or Hokage, is because he's not a strong leader who can make decisions that affect everyone. One of the traits of a chunin/jounin is to start leading squads on missions into battle, which Naruto fails horribly.

Sure, he can show up and save the day with sheer willpower and determination, but he's really not a strong leader, and that's why he won't ever become anything but a genin. He's got a lot of growing up to do before he can fulfill that role.

Kishi didn't directly say it, but because he's got sage mode and now kyuubi mode, he can use Rasen Shuriken whenever he wants to without any risk because both forms regenerate his body constantly. The risk of self damage from rasen shuriken is non existent as long as he only uses it when in those forms.

Sasuke and Naruto record still wouldn't be as impressive as Gaara, seeing as Gaara did it when he was 12, while Naruto and Sasuke would be close to 17.

yea he's a sage better than just about anyone, and is stronger than 99% of everyone in Naruto. Also Sasuke is not genin, he's missing nin (ninja) Rank doesn't matter to them, Their strengths and abilities vary. BTW: It shouldn't matter what Naruto's ninja rank is right now, all that matters is that he's kickin' A$$! Then after the war he will most-likely be Properly Ranked as either Sage(which he technically already is) or, Higher. So calm yourself before you wreck yourself people, dang.
