yep, explained by deva having his gravity powers and getting stronger the closer he got to nagato. Unless you want to assert that base naruto is on the same speed tier as KN6 naruto.

Deva path cannot use gravity power continiously while running and casting a CT :|

I have already stated based on the size of Katsuyu and the attack range of the acid its not something that can be outran easily.

Its big globs spread out over a large area, 4 big globs were shot and will take up a big area of where the target is. Either way even if its not hit its a perfect way to keep someone away Sakura and Tsunade. As anyone who wants to get a hit will have to jump up Katsuyu's height where they will be in the perfect position for acid as they are coming up.
