No. When Sasuke saw how strong Naruto got, he had a wake-up call of sorts. He realized that him staying in Konoha wouldn't give him the strength he needed. It was because he was a prodigy that he realized this. If the loser Naruto suddenly got stronger than a prodigy, then he must be doing something wrong in Konoha, it wasn't the place for him.

This is why he went to Oro, not out of fear, but because Konoha had nothing more to offer him, or at least in his eyes.

He aced everything in the Academy except for Co-operation and was easily the top in the class. He forced Kakashi to use his hands when he was fighting him as a Genin. He was the last Uchiha left, and easily learned many Katon jutsu alone AFTER the Uchiha Clan Massacre. He also, easily mastered a multitude of jutsu. This is why he is considered a prodigy, but I wouldn't put him too far ahead of anyone else.

2.The Sharingan is a tool which needs to be master in a way....just because you have the Sharingan doesn't mean anything. but what makes Sasuke a prodigy is he had total control over his Sharingan and his Clan Fire jutus about the age of 13 and even Kakashi was shocked Sasuke at his level had enough Chakra to use the Fire style which is another reason why Sasuke was call prodigy.

For instance, Sasuke wasn't even on Naruto's level in part 1, until he got the curse mark. IMO, Sasuke only became a "prodigy" thanks to Orochimaru's drugs.

People say Lee is not a prodigy. Seriously? Lee used zero hacks, and is a high threat with only taijutsu. That sounds much more like a prodigy to me.

As for everything else, who cares? Naruto was arguably stronger than Sasuke in Part 1 (as seen in Gaara's fight). What does it matter if all of his previous accomplishments are overshadowed by other people?

Wrong, Naruto wasn't stronger than Sasuke in power or skills....Naruto only had the advantage of summoning a big-ass taod to beat Garra while Sasuke didn't have that.

"sasuke is indeed a gifted talent, he just needed a stronger push. itachi did that for him to realize his true potential."

Sasuke does his research as well, and has knowledge about things.

He showed great promise when he battled Haku; he also showed great adaptability.
