Why is Sakura not compared to other MCs

I don't think there is a single female in the entire genre who can be compared in terms of development to the main characters despite having screen time.in Bleahc Rukia is better written than Sakura but again not comparable to the mains. Naruto is not the best written series so its even worse here. Those who compare Sakura to the mains are pure trolling, Honestly ever since Naruto launched on Toonami the main thing I liked about Sakura is the humour aspect of it.

Well I agree to an extent but Sakura's character could've done better. Other than that reading or watching Sakura's parts were kind of annoying to me since it was the same damsel in distress shit most of the time.

Yup, it does but Sakura fans have no other way to justify Sakura's writing. No one can honestly sit here and say Sakura's character was equally developed with the other MCs.

Ever here the phrase "Pick on someone your own size". It's like that with Sakura fans. They choose characters who didn't have enough screen time to prove Sakura is a "good" female character or how she is "powerful". Of course they'll compare Sakura to a side character that never had a chance to begin with.

I think comparing to other side character makes it far worse and always points to the fact that she's not a MC material.

I like how her being the strongest female is not only true, but really means nothing when her fighting style is boring, which no one welcomes in a series about fighting.

Also like how the implication that being housewife is a bad thing and/or easy when it's tough af job.

Thank you this. ALL Shonen female main characters<then their male counterparts. Sakura is no exception. She doesn't get compared to other MC because she is a terribly written character.

There's an interview somewhere where Kishi explains that Shonen actually make their authors keeps female leads within certain character tropes. Same with their main protagonists with very few exceptions.

Sakura isn't compared to other MCs because there is nothing to compare.

If Hyuga fans stopped bringing up Hinata in every thread merely encompassing Sakura, then I don't doubt the comparison would come to a halt.

They basically know Sakura is side-character material, just with a whole lot more screen time to do nothing and a lot less development relative to that.

Kishi wanted her to be the most normal girl possible, and that's to be expected when her character is suppose to be opposite what Sasuke and Naruto are.
