Why is Naruto still genin?

Omg ..... ok if you want it like that : naruto can do FRS without sage mode even if tsunade prohibited it . And second ok naruto without sage mode , without kyuubi , and kakashi without ms or sharingan ok ? Its like saying hey im stronger than him if he would not have had those things . Naruto is stronger and thats it . In a fight , raw power its not the only one that counts . Kakashi is not stronger than naruto and he admitted it BEFORE HE EVEN THOUGH ABOUT SAGE MODE . What more do you want ? Direct presentation in a episode with kakashi standing and sayin 1000000 that naruto is stronger ?

Naruto in sage mode can only form 2 FRS, Naruto outside sage mode, can do 1?

Or Kakashi simply dodges it if hes outside sage mode as FRS cant be thrown unless in sage mode.


I feel Kakashi meant surpassed him in his ninjutsu skill, Kakashi said making the FRS would complete the jutsu and be the strongest jutsu anyones CREATED (meaning stronger ones could be out there like bloodlimits etc). Surpassing Kakashis ability of ninjutsu.

Naruto firing up an FRS outside sage mode is not 100% guaranteed hit on Kakashi, he needs to get to kakashi, and he needs to make sure Kakashi cant use replacement techs etc, which he does all the time when someones trying to hit him.

The 2nd bell training showed very clearly how fast Kakashi can move, hand symbols and body, inc replacement tech, I highly doubt naruto could land the FRS on kakashi, unless he was in sage mode which significantly increases the hit rate given he can throw it very fast and it stretches out very far, thus he doesnt have to get up right next to the enemy to land it on them, and of course kakashi could be using a raiton clone like with Nagato.

Naruto surpassed Kakashis ABILITY yes, 1 vs 1 though I dont see how FRS can defeat kakashi.

Rasengan alone is super powerful, if a standard rasengan hit kakashi, itd be over for kakashi generally speaking, so why hadnt naruto surpassed kakashi with rasengan?

Because kakashi meant in jutsu creating skill.

FRS is simply just loads more powerful than rasengan, but they both require the same strategy and skill to get next to the real enemy.

Naruto couldnt do that with normal rasengan against kakashi

What makes anyone think because its FRS naruto suddenly becomes better at finding the real kakashi and knowing when its a replacement tech??

Sage is not a rank. Sage is a title given to someone who has masted Senjutsu.

The four ranks are Genin, Chunin, Jounin and Kage.

Again S-Rank Jounin is a rank but a way to measure how powerful a jounin is. He is still a Jounin though.

Ugh, sage and sannins arent ranks, there will only be 3 sannin, and sage is simply someone who masters natural energy, it isnt a rank.

There are 4 true ranks

Genin, chuunin, Jounin, and Kage.

And even then, I wouldnt call Kage a rank, as theyre the leader.

Jounin simply means High level Ninja, which could mean anything.

Kakashi is a Jounin in the respect is a high levelled Ninja, Neji is a Jounin in the respect he is a high levelled Ninja

Theyre both called Jounins despite having a considerable difference in skills and fighting ability.


The 3 ranks are vague terms on a relative scale to the entire village.

Naruto is S rank, because if a Ninja was to be given a mission to kill Naruto, it would be an S rank mission. Akatsuki are said to be S-rank Ninjas, not akatsuki rank etc.

Naruto is still labelled a "low class ninja" despite the fact he is not.

Think of someone with a degree, no masters, and no phD.

Degree is Genin
Masters is Chuunin
phD is Jounin


Naruto has a degree, he is perfectly CAPABLE of obtaining both a masters, and a phD, however due to his busy lifestyle, he has not done them.

Naruto is therefore, only qualified to degree level, and has the POTENTIAL to be qualified higher, but has not done so yet.


Who in a job interview ever says

"Oh well, No, I dont OFFICIALLY have a phD for this job, but I am smart enough to get one"? LOL

"Oh, well, No, I am not OFFICIALLY a Jounin agreed upon from my peers, but I am strong enough to be one"

After defeating pain he should have been promoted Jounnin, not even Chunnin. Hell, even Sannin would be the right title for Naruto right now

I don't want him to be a jounin, chunnin or sannin naruto is the only one in the entre series to bear the title Sennin (Sage). He is in a class of his own, he dosen't think like a conventional ninja and probably, would try to save the world everytime he is on a mission.

Naruto's Persona isn't of a normal ninja why can't ppl see that and stop wishing for him to be a Jounin.
