That is your problem not mine. Others on here seem to agree with me. I explained my idea pretty thoroughly. Ichibei says that YH can't be beat and then says "but don't worry, isn't that what peace is all about" What else can that mean but what I said? How does YH's strength have anything to do with peace? Why did he say that after talking about YH? The answer is simple, Strength leads to peace. peace exists because someone has a bigger stick. etc. This really isn't that complex of a concept.
Before YH came along, who was the strongest organization? That would be SS. Who ruled the realms? The soul king via SS. Given the information that the gotei 13 isn't all that good either, then it is safe to say that they had achieved peace through domination. And in fact, YH even says this about Yamamoto.
The chapter is literally titled "The ordinary peace" and Ichibei's words explain that title. You don't have to agree with me, but there isn't another explanation for Ichibei's words. Especially given the true nature of the gotei 13 and obviously Ichibei. More and more this arc is having a theme that not everyone is as good or bad as they seem, and i recall arguing with someone about the nature of ichibei's ability. Gotei 13/RG didn't' gain dominance beause they were friendly people who had the good of the world in mind. They gained dominance because they were the strongest, and that is why for the last 1000 years their has not been an incident that resembles this.
