[Discussion] Why Hashirama and Naruto can both possess Ashura's chakra

A lot of ppl think that this is impossible, but they forget one thing. Hashirama was an Edo Tensei. With ET Both Itachi and Sasuke were able to possess Itachi's eyes simultaneously. Madara, Nagato, and Obito were able to possess Rinnengan almost at the same time. ET revives a soul and recreates the body in the form right before death, with exception of Madara (Kabuto did some crazy experiments to get that result).

To be reincarnated one must first die, so if Hashi died with Ashura's chakra, even if it was reborn in another vessel afterward wouldn't ET bring him back with Ashura's chakra as part of the stipulations of ET. (Brought back in the state before death)

ET defies the laws of nature and as we have seen even allows two of the same object exist at the same time. (even if one is fake) Its only when the person is completely reborn like RT with Madara that the laws of nature apply. (Rinnengan deteriorating)

This being said if Hashirama was brought back with Ashura's chakra this would give meaning to why Sasuke received both chakra directly from Hashirama and Hashirama cells.

Sidenote:What does Madara, Obito, and Nagato "Almost possessing the rinnegan at the same time have to do with anything?Only Obito and Madara possess the rinnegan at the same time, and Madara an Edo and Madara had to take back his eyes once he revive himself.

That would still mean that the chakra at some point dies because the rebirth is not immediately Naruto and Sasuke's birth happened long after the death of Madz and Hashi

The transmigrations have less to do with their power/ capabilities and more to do with their beliefs, virtues, and take on life
i.e. Naruto had to work and train to get his power. He doesn't rely on power alone but the help of his friends and it's basically the opposite with Sasuke. He was born with "powerful eyes" and thought the key to true power was to cut all bonds.
There's more to it but that ought to be enough to get my point across.

I guess, you forgot the most important thing. Itachis Mangekyō, Nagatos and Madaras Rinnegan were simply images made out of dirt.
The Bijū with two tails, Matabi, clearly differentiated between the fake Rinnegan and the real Rinnegan.
Another question:

Do you know whether the former Jinchūriki have been revived with the chakra of the Bijū or not?
The answer is no, because they have been sealed inside Gedō Mazō. These case is similar to Ashuras chakra. Ashura and the Bijū exist as manifestations of chakra.

And to the guy that said it makes no sense for Ashura to be Naruto's reincarnation, it actually makes perfect sense.
As far as we know, there are no more existing senju. Uzumaki being distant relatives would make Naruto the next logical choice.

Because Kishi want's him that way. There is no logic behind that, but simply capriciousness. However, on the other hand Edo Tensei became one of the best known Jutsu. Kabuto, Matabi, Tobirama, Orochimaru and the databook mentioned nearly every relevant detail to describe that kind of Kuchiyose Jutsu.
