Why does Hashirama not get the respect he deserves?

Not sure why but Hashirama seems to get swept under the rug a lot on the forums.

This is the man that beat EMS Madara + Kyuubi in his prime.
He also beat Edo Madara as a weaker version of himself.

Give some respect to the First.

I can't disagree with facts he's overhyped and over praised. If he was as strong as people make him out to be with Madara out of the way and the Uchiha now a part of konoha he should've be been able to win the 1st war singlehandedly and brought world peace. Instead he dies in it like I said he's overhyped.

Your list is a joke right? Kakashi using sharingan is no different than madara using senju dna. Orochi whole existence is to rely on other ninjas power and tobirama couldn't surpass uchiha until he somhow magically through the power of plot bend space w/ time and minato irrelevant until he took that same said jutsu from tobiramas. The rest with exception to featless yahiko is valid.

Op. Hashi putting madara down may be short but it's the only damn thing you need on your resume to deserve to be placed in top 5 strongest ninjas. But I do find he's not as invulnerable as some people claim him to be.
