Why does Hashirama not get the respect he deserves?

The 1% are those who literally bare the essence and power of god. Those people are Ohtsutsuki and any other person capable of controlling the power of the jyubi.
I'm not underrating him at all, nothing I said indicates this otherwise I'd see people pulling up manga feats to contradict what i said. But nobody was able to, all they could do is just repeat more hype that the manga said in regards to Hashirama from the most contradicting characters in the manga (kabuto).
It's literally no different from th Hiruzen hype if you look at it from a very unbiased view that I'm approaching it in this thread (and only this thread) alone.

And as far as where I place Hashirama I put him either on par or slightly below Bm Naruto, in this is based solely on feats. Just know that if Hashirama could even reach the level of the 1% of the narutoverse, he'd be at the same position JJ Obito was when he fought the whole SA. Mind you this is excluding all the dangerous powerful people (such as akatsuki) that perished before the war started.

Can you see my point I'm trying to make? I know even when it comes to characters you like, you're the least biased compared to the rest.

Wrong. Manga never stated Tobirama fought them. EVEN if he did he could have simply FTG away as his technique works on tags as well.

As for Hashirama. Who knows what happened. All i know is he beat EMS Madara and Kyuubi. So this means:

1) Hashirama was weaker over time

or

2) Whoever killed him was stronger than EMS Madara/Kyuubi

or

3) It was plot

Manga states his sacrificed his life for his team and indeed fought them. There were 20 elite shinobi, two of them possessing the Sage tools which soloed a shinobi division and kyuubi chakra, in 4 tails version could've soloed orochimaru according to himself.

Is there any need to? It was literally stated he died fighting them, hence why he didnt allow hiruzen to fight. Otherwise he couldve teleported them all out of the battlefield and escaped.

Ofcourse they led them or why the name? Shikamaru stated kinksku and ginkaku killed tobirama during alliance division battle.

OT: Hashirama is only being underrated by a few people. The majority of the base accept how strong he is. Ofcourse, there's also a few people who overrate him from time to time.
