I actually think that the reason most people hate Sasuke is how he was portrayed in Part 2. Kishi over did his emo/evil guyness and completely turned the readers against Sasuke. He was one of my favourites in part 1. But he licked DEZE when Part 2 came around.

Kakashi's father was the only family Kakashi had, and he killed himself, a cowards death.
kakashi had to deal with both witnessing his dad's death and with the shame that came along with it.
No seriously, if his dead was murdered by someone else it would be less traumatizing I think.
Kakashi actually took it like a man, and even better, when his friend died before his eyes he changed him in a better person, instead of even more of a crybaby like Sasuke does.

here is why i love naruto and why i hate sasuke
1. naruto had no family but still managed to live unlike sasuke who builded up hatred
2. you might say that sasuke saw his parents die but everyone in konoha turned there backs on naruto and look instead of taking revenge on them for that he saved them...
3. sasuke can't win a fight without someone helping him
4.sasuke is gonna destroy konoha and doesn't even know the whole story
5. and ya pein did destroy konoha but he also brought them back to life by giving his own life up

I don't hate Sasuke per say, I just think he's stupid. Even if he's gonna decide to hate on konoha, he should at least do his own search for information.

I have some of the same problems with Naruto, but Naruto isn't fighting to killl everyone he grew up with so he gets a bit of a pass.

My opinion the manga needs sasuke he's the guy people love to hate every story has one, but I dislike him because he shows no loyalty to his past team(attempting to kill sakura) or his new team threw them away like trash, for revenge he is willing to kill the only people left who actually love him, plain and simple.

I never liked him not even from the start of the series. All I liked was the blood limit I thought it was cool. But it was Kakashi who made it cool and enjoyable for the first small while.

They were planning to overthrow the village.
How is that not breaking the villages rules?
Besides, having your only family kill himself is much worse than having them murdered by your role model.
If someone I knew killed himself, I'd only remember him with disgust.
Killing yourself is a cowards death, at least Sasuke's parents died decently.
