I don't know if people can really compare Gaara to Naruto based on anything but age. Mental maturity and the ability to keep your emotions composed and do serious work is something Naruto is still working on. Gaara may be young but his mind isn't.

I would have to say, on a serious note...Of course he will be Hokage. It's been his montra for the entire series. Now do I think it will happen anytime soon? No way. As a matter of fact, I'd be surprised if it happens before the last 2-3 pages of the entire series. Kinda like a wrap up deal like "Naruto went on to become the (?)th Hokage and married So and So" type thing
