Why do people overrate Chouji so much?

Reason why Choji is rated high is because of his high chakra control and strength that will allow him to solo a lot of characters. Choji with chakra butterflywings is OP. Can one hit almost anybody. Stood toe to toe withbthe gedo maso for a while.

As a kid beat one of the sound 4 by himself in cursed seal mode level 2.

He has bevome faster and better atbusingbhis clan techs. Human boulder allows him to crush almost anything.


Spiked human boulder has him use it with multiple kunia. So he does use tools.

He also has a bo staff that he can use to fight long distance while giant. Choji is beast. His rraction time has improved vastly lole when he saved Naruto and Shika from Sais ambush. Not to mention he has massive chakra reserves.. Choji solos all but top 15.

But got soloed by a mere kick, even Ebisu could have done better....

Choji really is limited. That's why it's always Ino-Shika-Cho. Their abilities compliment each other, but aren't very practical for use alone

True he does use some tools like the kunai while doing the human boulder. I meant weapon useage more in terms of Kenjutsu and Assuma wind blades, tricks with needles like Haku or other weapon specialists like how the seven shinobi swordsmen use a weapon.
The Bo staff is something Chouji's dad used btw and not Chouji.

Kakuzu wasn't that strong even he was either living or Edo Tensei, so it doesn't make any sense, because if Kakuzu had lived since then his powers are even more stronger and unique until now, imo... Choji is not that great, seeing how funny you said he could beat a lot of characters and can one hit almost anybody... Sure, he is big, but it doesn't mean he can hit everyone by just a Butterfly Mode.

Neji and Hinata can just use Gentle Fist on his legs and makes him harder to move and then falls down.... He can't actually do much, and according to him he is strong, however he is not that underrated.

Anime is canon, but fillers is just fillers, it is just same when everyone was so excited about Itachi was about to fight against Obito in Road to Ninja movie but got trolled, and after some days a lot of people were making those similar threads, and by that they said it was canon. Well, what was that about?
