Why do people have an impression Sasuke can beat the Kages?

When Sasuke recklessly intervened the 5 Kage Summit he by the looks of it, was fully confident he can hand everybodies asses to them. But he nearly got killed and were saved 3 times!

• Despite Ay's risk at death of the black flames, he still didnt give a damn and wanted to kill Sasuke, then Gaara saved both of them.

• Mizukage Mei nearly killed him, but she was holding back obviously.

• Onoki nearly took him out of existence till Tobi arrived.

All this and Madara single handed played with the 5 Kage like its nothing.

And what's even more cynical is that fans say Sasuke > Muu or Sasuke > 3rd Raikage. Lol WTF? Wasnt the previous Kage far stronger than the new ones anyway? Sasuke did have a hard time with Ay and Mei respectively.

I know he is stronger now but its freaking Kage's, not your average Jounin.

The problem here is that you're comparing old Sasuke to the new one. His powers have grown immensely since then. Madara made them lose their will to fight with PS alone. Sasuke not only has PS, but Enton control which is a deadly combination.

I understand he has EMS and stuff, but think about this logically, Onoki, and possibly the other old Kage's had experience fighting Madara and they still outlived him (If that's they KNOW how to handle Uchiha).

Onoki knew what Amaterasu, Susanoo and EMS was before Naruto could figure out what the hell was happening.

Dont underestimate the knowledge of the Kage's.

It's true that Sasuke got some seriously major power-ups but he's still new with'em, I can't just give the edge to Sasuke based on them... Same goes for Naruto.

madara was edo so he couldn't be killed and also had infinite chakra.

The main reason for sasuke's loss was because he went out of chakra after fighting raikage and gaara against mei.

The scan of Naruto and Sasuke standing next to each other with Kurama and PS fusing proves it, it has the same nose and face as Madara's PS. You can't have everything spoon-fed to you, you gotta use your brain.

You have an extremely biasis view of sasuke and that fight .

1) Your first point is flawed being that gaara save the Ay with that interference. Sasuke just took Ay's liger bomb, elbow, and chop and sustained little injury while Ay has a hole in his chest and lost an arm. How is sasuke losing this fight the leg drop would have only resulted in Ay losing and leg and sasuke tsking minial damage like his been receiving.

I mean look at both of them right now you can't tell that Sasuke fought Ay but you can dame sure tell Ay fought sasuke

2)The Mizukage was holding back lol your so funny what makes you think that, If anything she had the upper hand benig that he just fought samuri, Ay and his Guard, The samura leader, th Mizukage guard got hit then she shows up.

3) no Argument there

In reguards ot how he preformed vs how madara preformed I must say i liked Sasuke performance better. These are my reasons as to why.

Madara is more powerful no question but Sasuke took way less damage that Madara

Sasuke fought their guards as weel as them Madara only fought the Kages

At the end of the day all the kages lived after Madara's fight and were unscathed

After the kage summit Ay lost an arm and the acting Hokage was dead

Idk what factors you look at when you watch a fight but that's what i saw

I don't have much to say about this. Sasuke could probably take on a few of those Kage, but you have to take one thing in account.

Madara is an Edo. That means he can spam incredibly chakra intensive jutsus and he is unkillable, so he can only be sealed. Remember when Oonoki blasted half his body off? Well yeah, without Edo, Madara would be dead.

Just wanted to make that point. Sasuke is clearly Kage level now, not enough to whip every other Kage's ass easily, but he could hold his own.
