That was Kisame's most costly mistake, because he assumed Gai would attack him with ninjutsu. And after that Gai was down as well and even Konohamaru could have killed him.

Kakashi nearly died against the 5 hearth Guy, if Naruto had not arrive in time to save Him Ino and the rest. You are under estimating the organization and over estimating Kakashi abilities.

Kakashi could beat...Hidan, Deidara, Sasori ( hey, he'd react better than Chiyo/Sakura because of the sharingan ) and perhaps Kakuzu.
Gai, could probably defeat, Hidan and Deidara.
He only beat Kisame without Kisame even using his full power ( with Samehada ).
But we could safely assume Pain, Tobi, Itachi, Kisame and Konan would destroy them.
Yes Konan too. She's the only one who has ever done that much damage to Tobi.
