Personally I don't think any fillers should be called canon for two reasons. One, because too much of it clearly not canon already, and two, fillers are likely called fillers for a reason.
I seriously doubt SP can legally tell a true continuation of the canon story. Kishimoto has already sold the rights to use the canon material written in manga for anime use and to create their own adaptation to fill in the gaps (fillers). Why would he also allow them to use unreleased canon material too?
That wouldn't make any sense considering he's still involving himself in other Naruto related works. Giving SP rights to use unreleased canon info would mean losing out on using that info to boost projects that actually has his name on it and most importantly, he actually gets PAID for. SP would be minimizing potential profit for Kishi if they were allowed to give the world canon info before Kishi himself was able to, as Kishi wouldn't make nearly as much retelling the anime's fillers vs having a true alternate canon version and revealing it later. From a business perspective that doesn't make much sense.
But that's just me. I still enjoy watching some fillers because I like seeing stuff Kishi didn't cover. I just know that unless Kishi is involved in some way it's likely not how it really happened
