sasuke's jutsu seem stronger:
-he uses his chidori, has his chidori nagashi, uses lighting to charge his weapons like shuriken and his sword, and can extend the range of his chidori as if it were a sword
-he also has kirin which seems like the strongest lighting technique yet

however kakashi does seem to have a greater variety of lighting techniques:
-lighting blade
-the lighting animal he used while fighting pain
-lighting clone

so overall i have to say that kakashi has greater variety but sasuke's are stronger and he has greater control over them

Its obviously Sasuke since the thread is about whose jutsu's are better.

Sasuke has Kirin which is thee most powerful Lightning tech and chidori spear etc are just imo "cooler" than Kakashis lol

that depends, at some points of the manga they say that they are the same, on some they say raikiri is stronger. however, i dont really see a difference between the two, both just pierce almost everything.

overall i'd say sasuke has the better lightning jutsus, his chidori is more variable (senbon, spear, nagashi), whereas kakashi only has lightning-bunshin, which only in some situations usefull. and in terms of raw destructive power kirin overwhelms any other raiton by far.

If u mean the chidori by the word lightning technique then Kakashi's Raikiri is more powerful than sasuke's chidori It is an S rand tech but the chidorri is an A rank tech. And about chakra manipulation I think both of them are great cuz sasuke do the techniques mentioned up there and Kakashi do the electric dog so both are gd with it.
Kirin is so powerful but I think Raikages level 2 raiton chakra is even greater than it.

people are you forgetting that kakashi was the one who made chidori in the first place...when sasuke used it the first time in public the 3rd hokage said that..that is kakashi's move so i am going with inventer...its like saying who is better with the rinnengan So6P pr madara? of course it would be the one who invented the fu*king move

Ok both are strong, but they are all altered technique now, if it was the original lighting blade i would say kakashi obviously, but the technique its not original now, so it varies...
They all have strong points... so it depends on what point of view you look at it...

As much as I hate to admit it, I'd have to say Sasuke too. Kakashi is the man, but Sasuke took Chidori and made it his own as well as taking it to a whole new level

I'm going to have to say the better Raiton user of the two is Kakashi.

Kakashi simply has more experience, and I'm pretty sure it's his primary/natural element. Sasuke has ''stronger'' techniques, sure.. the Chidori was ''passed on'' to Sasuke in a manner similar to how the Rasengan was ''passed on'' to Naruto. Just like Naruto built upon the Rasengan, Sasuke built upon the Chidori.

Normally I'd say the previous generation is surpassed by the current one, but in this case I don't think Sasuke has achieved a level of Lightning usage that Kakashi has. Just an opinion, but I believe Sasuke is far more suited for Katon techniques, and will probably be using a lot more Katon/Enton techniques to match with his now undying patriotism and love for a clan that virtually no longer exists.

who is the inventor isn't a reason. 4th hokage invented rasengan but it was naruto who added nature manipulation to it and improved the move.
anyways, kakashi invented chidori, but sasuke developed more and stronger moves using lightning element, like kirin.

Hey guyz I already explained this b4. It has nothing with who invented the technique cuz u can c the 4th hokage invented the rasengan but Naruto became a lot better with it U_U so take another look at it dude!!
