Itachi wasn't cut short? The dude gave his life for Sasuke. Both have equal reasons to be resurrected but none of them should be.

He had his chance to grow. There's no growth to be had with Itachi. Minato was killed off shortly after becoming hokage, and before he could complete some things.

Well, for instance, his jutsus. Didn't have much chance for leadership. Minato's end was like an interruption. Itachi's is just a part of his plan, which succeeded.

Protecting the village and sasuke huh? He knew that danzo was the problem and didnt take charge, he didnt try hardly at all to find another solution. Itachi turning good all of a sudden was just a a** pull on kishi's part. Itachi could have done anything else besides put his little brother through all of that mental hell. He could of atleast told him the situation so he would have understood a little. Itachi went about to many things the completely wrong way.
