don't forget while Jiraiya was battling with Pein, Pein only used summonings, so he didn't use the rinnegan that much, if Jiraiya lost to him that way, Sasuke would lose if Pein used summoning justu once (that if sasuke doesn't improve), but I don't think Sasuke would fight with him anyway.

I think pein would win. he has much more advanced jutsu's. plus, sasuke learned all of his jutsu's from his clan, ans has now, some of itachi's jutsu's. he does not know all of itachi's juutsu's so well yet, but on thre other hand, pein has the most powerful eye, and is fully capable iof using it to it's ful extent.remember, itachi was not actualy trying to beat sasuke, and oro was caught off guard by sasuke. this is his 2 bniggest fights, which he was given advantages in. i don't think he is as good as he is cut out to be. so i think pein wuld win as soon as he uses his rinnegan.

I don't know how people are saying Sasuke is going to win. In part 1 Itachi said that Jiraiya to easily kill him and Kisame. Sasuke just killed Itachi, almost dying himself. Jiraiya would've killed Itachi without being that injured severely. Pein killed Jiraiya, Jiraiya is way better than Sasuke. Pein>Sasuke.

My thoughts almost exactly. Whilst I do still agree with this...we just can't be sure due to Sasuke's new sharingan....but I'm sure he still couldn't. The only reason Jiraiya couldn't defeat Orochimaru earlier was because of the Chakra-Inhibiting drug that Tsunade gave to hime.

Know what? I think that we all overestimate Pein. Of course, he has great power but based only at the mystery behind him. If you know who he is, sooner or later you will solve the mystery, see his tricks and win him. Konoha is working on that with the body Jiraya gave them. It's the things you don't know that you are afraid of. And I think that's why he doesn't keep lots of people close to him.

As for Sasuke, he is pretty strong, but he isn't the smartest person. That's why he wouldn't win Pein. This is a Shikamaru, Neji or Hinata and Naruto situation. Not Sasuke.

pain would win sasuke will maybe hold on with the MS but remember sasuke dosent have enough chakra to do all the jutsus of the MS remember when madara trapped him in the cave and amateratsu activated sasuke was panting grabing his eye so it would be diffiscult to control it 6 times because that he would use for the 6 bodies of pain so of course pain would win him

Nope, didn't say that Naruto is smarter than Sasuke.
I actually think (although we haven't seen naruto after his toad training yet) that neither him or sasuke could win Pein alone. I thing to win Pein it takes a person really really smart (Shikamaru), a person with special abilities (Neji or Hinata) and a strong close range fighter (like Naruto).
Sasuke is very strong, but he is used at working alone. See now the Hawk, he always tells to others "stay back" or "I'll go" or "leave this to me" etc.
