Needs to be in water? I've never heard of that. But, yeah he starts in Samehada mode. Kisame fused with Samehada has an extremely durable body, so I doubt even Tsukiyomi will kill him. Plus, if Kisame goes in water, it heals him. So this is tough. But, since Itachi is my 2nd fav, I say he wins.:shrug:

Hmmm.. I could see a even fight here, untill Itachi uses Susano'o. Perhaps Kisame will be smarter and close his eyes, using the Samehada to see for him, like a "sense" kinda vision, but if he opens his eyes, Itachi will kill his ass. Although, Itachi can't keep Susano'o on for long, and I believe he still couldn't use his Tsikiyomi or Amaterasu without fatigue. If Kisame uses defensive side I bet he could take this. But like I said, if Itachi uses more offensive then defensive, Itachi wins this. We only saw that Kisame lost by Genjutsu, Kisame is a smart guy, he'd learn some strategy to overcome it.

Honestly about the water thing idk I know ur not suppose to add logic to naruto but when kisame goes into transformation he grow gills and gills can't breath open regular air things with gills can only breath under water

Amaterasu can burn under water.

Even Kisame said Itachi was stronger than him.
While in team he had Itachi as one of the strongest ninjas... He kinda praised Itachi.
He wouldn't carry on with Akatsuki after Itachi's death if it wasn't because of Tobi showing up his face without the mask.
