Everything's inconclusive especially since we've never seen either of them fighting at their primes. Using Madara to justify Hashirama's superiority over Hiruzen is indirect BS. If you want Hashi to be stronger, go ahead and believe it. Same goes for Hiruzen. It's never going to be conclusively proven. Let it go.
I agree but people are gonna say Hiruzen defeated the 1st and 2nd together, which i thnk were dumbed down a whole helluva alot. They were no where near full strength imo.
In the beginning Hiruzen was noted as the strongest Hokage, just like Itachi was noted as a bad guy. Just because Kishi stated Hiruzen>Hashiram 7-8 years ago, that doesn't mean that now.Just like Itachi,Kishi never stated Itachi was an good guy,but we can infer that he is. Let's look at some feats

Hiruzen has shown me nothing. Look how badass Madara's Sasuno was.HTF could Hiruzen fight anything like.The only person who could fight that is Tobi,Hashirama,and Naruto.
I think you're right. People should accept the word "change". And Madara said it himself that only Hashirama could beat him.
But I'd like to say something about the bolded, red part. We never saw Hiruzen fighting with his full power, hè never went all out. You can say he went all out against Orochi, but hè was old and his chakra reserve was incredibly small.
But for the rest, Hiruzen would be able to defend himself for à while, but hè is not stront enough to beat Madara.
It's clear to me that people who say Hiruzen > Hashirama are in denial. They always say "Manga > Everything you just said." The truth is that the Manga is indeed > Everything anyone says, but if you're talking about something that was stated in the Manga a long time ago then you're like a petty teenage girl that can't accept even the most obvious and basic things. In conclusion: Hashirama > 10 Hiruzens.
Madara was beaten by Hashirama before hè died, so Madara has certainly used that jutsu and Hashirama still beated him.

He wasn't saying that Hashi has that jutsu. But it is assumed that Hashi went up against that, so some people are wondering how Hiruzen would handle that. I'm just waiting for a flashback on the battle or something before I can put my opinion out there on this topic though. xd
This again? The truth is, Hiruzen was called the strongest Hokage. And Hashirama's hype has not actually compromised this. People keep arguing that Hiruzen can't do anything to Madara etc but that is pointless for a number of reasons;
- Kishi has yet to reveal Prime Hiruzen's true power
- A>B>C logic is futile in Naruto.
The wise man would sit back and wait for Kishi to make his move. At this moment in time, Kishi has done nothing to suggest that Hiruzen's original hype is incorrect. If he was the the strongest Hokage, then HE was the strongest Hokage. Hashirama can be a fairytale etc but this doesn't mean Hiruzen's true power was not equal if not greater than this. Remember, part 1 power levels were different to part 2. If you disagree, then I take it you think Deidara > everyone in part 1.
