Dan has never seen Hashirama fight. He just assumed that because Hashirama "defeated" Madara before. Also who's to say he ever saw prime Hiruzen fight, his opinion is invalid.

all we know is that hashi is a perfect counter for madara and probably stronger than hiruzen is and people who consider him the strongest hokage

no hashiramas abilities arent perfect for countering madaras. hashirama and madara had alot of encounters over their lifetime. you really think hashirama won every exchange.

Every exchange ended in a stalemate, with Hashirama winning the final one (We shall soon see how). They complimented eachother as shinobis, that's for sure.

IRUKA is talking in past tense, same as how oro did, And he's basically saying, back in hiruzen's prime he was called the professor and was considered to be the strongest hokage.

THE TITLE IS NOT SO6P.. that's NOT the meaning of the title... god of shinobi doesn't mean so6p so your logic is flawed .... It's for someone with mastery and knowledge of ninjutsu and shinobi arts...

Are you really that confused about that page? He was saying don't speak past tense about Minato, because it upset him thinking about Minato and how he died.

True, but the discussions were on whether Prime Hiruzen > Hashirama and if Prime Hiruzen > Madara.

It might be difficult for Hiruzen to defeat Madara because he never faced him before, but it's highly possible that Hiruzen could defeat Hashirama because Hashirama was his teacher. Hiruzen would have known all of Hashirama's strengths and weaknesses. This would be a great advantage on Hiruzen's part.

Hiruzen not knowing Madara's skills could prove fatal for him. But he did know the Uchihas... he might have a slight chance of defeating Madara if he plays his cards right.

Let's hope we get more info on Hashirama and Hiruzen... these two are filled with hype. Most of these threads are pointless because we have almost no info on either character. Hashirama did defeat Madara, but that was most likely because of Mokuton. Seeing if he has other powerful techs would be great info for us to use. Same goes for Hiruzen; we must get more info on him. All we saw was him fighting Edo Tobirama, Edo Hashirama and Orochimaru. Both were thought to not be at their max power because Orochimaru didn't have the proper control over them. But Orochimaru + two strong Edos... and Hiruzen winning... I think this means something for Hiruzen.

It is true he died, but he prevented Orochimaru from finishing his goal... which was to completely destroy Konoha. Some say he was defeated and some say he won.

I respect others opinions, but in my eyes... Hiruzen won that fight.
