Hero, i didn't like him as villain.
I agree, the only times he stood out in this arc were when he was being disrespectful towards Kakashi and Suckura.ever since he turned good he's been boring
He had so much potential to be final villain especially if he was synced with gedo mazo like Obito wanted him to(what ever that meant) but Sasuke is still a great character regardless.
I think that MS phase was Indra's chakra finally awakening in Sasuke.
How do you feel Naruto will take it home from here? Do you feel there is still a chance of a fight on the cards?
yes lol macho will have to wait :skorm:
dat sig is awesome
Because, Itachi is a character who even in death and right before passing didn't recognize his influence in Sasuke's life. He actually thinks that Sasuke cares more about Naruto than him. He also thinks they have a better bond. When Sasuke initially asked for the truth, Itachi stated "I'm not the one who can change you now". He knew Sasuke wasn't following his wishes, so he didn't think Sasuke would change his mind if he saw it...Sasuke had already heard the truth.
Sasuke changed his mind after Itachi told him that he would always love him no matter what his path would be. That caused Sasuke to question his own motives- what really is the best path? Itachi wasn't around for that. He's in the afterlife right now without a clue about whether Sasuke continued his path or not.
It's also a factor of both of them. As his brother, Itachi caused him to change his mind and Hashirama as the village founder factored in a little. Now, Naruto has to take it home as his best friend and the main character of the series. Sasuke will join Naruto's side legitimately and they'll be on good terms by the time the series is over.
I liked him more as a villain. It was fun seeing him get trashed around by Bee, and the Kages.
I admit, I was happy when he turned good, and he and Naruto becoming allies without violence better fits the message of the series, but, I really did prefer him more as a villain. Other than (anime) Obito, he was one of the few that seemed realistically insane (not an unrealistic Joker-type like Orochimaru), and I feel he was just overall more entertaining to watch, his more delusional moments were fun, and him acting like a cold jerk was more justifiable. What do you think?
Naw, I don't think it would be bad writing. When we clearly did not know his true intentions to begin with. Like has Kishi really revealed all of Sasuke's true feelings through out this war arc? Also you notice how Naruto got more spot light than Sasuke? It all just doesn't seem a coincidence to me. I feel Kishi is for shadowing something here. Something big is about to come for Sasuke.
Who don't know what he wants true. But we also know that he wants to follow Itachi's wishes and change the ninja system for better and show what a ''real kage is'' which means he doesn't want war or anything like that anymore. The Sage acknowledged Sasuke''s goal and gave him power. When Sasuke was dying he said what he wanted to do but what he's currently thinking is still unknown and if it's FV bad then it really is bad writing after all that's been said and done with his character and the people that acknowledged him.
Like I said before and say it again. It's not bad writing since Sasuke was put on the pause button this whole time. The focus shifted from him to the whole War arc. So explain to me how it is bad writing, when not everything was right in your face about him? Are you expecting Sasuke to become good now? Seriously?
No. All we know is he wants to kill the bijuu and change the system but what would be his drive to keep him evil? during MS his drive was the Uchiha clan and Itachi now he knows the whole story about them that isn't his drive anymore. I said it would be bad writing because if he was ''evil'' then why would the Sage trust and like his answer and give him power that wouldn't make sense.
@bold: That is a story I will let Kishi write for you and not myself. With so many weird things happening thus far. I believe anything is possible at this point.
