Who killed Hashirama?

Topic says it all. He was revived in a relatively young state, I say late 30s to mid 40s, so who killed him? Like damn I cant imagine anyone from that era beating that Senjutsu Buddha thing so who defeated him? Was it one of the other 4 Kage at that meeting, I mean the Cloud one looked pretty badass, like he'd solo some sh!t real easy.

How did Hashirama die?

Yes, my theory was that one or two of the kages teamed up and killed him, most likely the first raikage and kazekage after he was weakened either physically or emotionally from his fight with Madara. Raikage would easily be explained if he possessed lighting armorwhile the first kazekage who is stated to be the strongest one may have had some hax jutsu or kekkei genki. Tobirama was stated to have been trying to negotiate with the second raikage for some reason and that's where I got this idea.

Someone also theorized using mokuton too much may have exhausted his life force, similar to Tsunade's Byakugou. There's also the possibility of a disease or poison.

It was said that Kakazu was assigned to assassinate him and he said he barely made it out alive. He fought him and poisoned Hashirama without him noticing and later fought in a war that lead to his death????

I see a couple of possibilites:

#1: He died from the battle with Madara.
#2: He died younger than expected because his healing reduced his lifespan.
#3: Enemy clans took advantage of being weakened and either attack or sent assassins.
#4: Took his own life to stop the cycle of hatred.

I hope we're told.
