Topic says it all. He was revived in a relatively young state, I say late 30s to mid 40s, so who killed him? Like damn I cant imagine anyone from that era beating that Senjutsu Buddha thing so who defeated him? Was it one of the other 4 Kage at that meeting, I mean the Cloud one looked pretty badass, like he'd solo some sh!t real easy.

It was either Age or His Fight with Madara weakened him.

Hashirama was by far the strongest shinobi of his generation, hence his title as the God of Shinobi. The only one, as stated numerous times by other characters, who was powerful enough to challenge him in his prime was Madara, and even he needed the help of Kurama to make it an even fight.

Also, he probably wasn't that young when he died. There seems to be a time discrepancy in the manga. Tsunade was at least 5 when he died, since she has memories of him, and understood the concept of gambling.

Even if we say that both he and his son had offspring relatively early (say, when they were 20), that still puts him at a minimum of 45 when he died.

He was probably around 50 when he died. As for how, it was said that he died in a war, but he was probably also weakened by illness or something, which enabled his enemies to kill him.
