Gai in 8th gates can't compete with Juubi Jins; Madara was just being nerf is all. Ways JJ Obito kills Gai is trap him in a barrier and shoot TBBs inside or slashing him with TSB; JJ Madara can use limbo to kill Gai, BT to pull Gai to him as he pulls Gai soul out or cut him with his TSB or absorb his chakra or hit him with the Yin Lightning, or stab him with Susanoo blade or crush him in CT; Kaguya absorbs his chakra or use ash bone or chakra arms or her hair needles or freeze him in the ice dimension or destroy him with her big TSB. 8th gate Guy is below EMS Madara since Susanoo tanks all of his attacks while Madara can kill him mid diff while fight seriously.

They use chakra, the 8 gates are chakra gates plus they use shunshin to increase their speed which is why they get faster which each chakra limiter they release. Also they use up stamina for their taijutsu and ninjas turn their stamina into chakra so there's that too.

Techniques doesn't count as borrowed powers, anyone can develop jutsu or learn jutsu which comes from within. I wonder if Samehada should count as borrowed powers seeing he is a living entity.

As for Jinchuuriki the problem is even if the user is in base, the Bijuu is already enhancing the user powers. Anyone can be Jinchuuriki now whether they get along or not is a different story.

EMS is within the Uchiha DNA, its in their Genetic which count as a KKG. Uchiha gets Sharingan normal, Uchiha gets Mangekyou sharingan normal, Uchiha gets EMS normal. As for Rinnengan that isn't within the Uchiha DNA which I count as borrowed.

That's retarded.

You know how hard Gai had to work to even master the 8 Gates? Lee who was considered a Prodigy via Kakashi for being able to use the Gates in the Chunin Exams, can only go up to 6. Meanwhile Gai not only can go up to 8, he has Taijutsu abilities that are accessed with them. Something that Lee hasn't shown either.

Just because he does at the 8th doesn't neglect the fact that he's one of the strongest shinobi without handed power-ups in the manga.
