Gave Madara Uchiha the rinnegan.
Forgot that his mother could be killed and told Naruto and Sasuke to seal her, knowing full well that seals could be broken.
Did nothing about Black Zetsu, who was created while He and Hamura were fighting the juubi.
Thought that picking one kid out of the two most powerful people in the world would not lead to massive wars.
Tried to turn everyone into Ninja Metal. I will explain this one later.

"Kage level intellect" LMFAO What? You mean his wisdom was on par with a kage. Intellect and wisdom are two very different things, Kakashi & itachi are indeed wiser because they lived alot longer and experienced way more. However Shikamaru is by far the most intelligent as his IQ is 200.

Sure, he's made poor decisions, but that doesn't mean he isn't a genius. He split the Juubi into 9 different tailed beasts, that deserves some credit.
