shisui was itachi's best friend in konoha, his eye had a special genjutsu that could control someone without them knowing, and didn't require eye contact to affect them.
he also had the nickname "the teleporter" for his mastery of the body flicker jutsu.

so no hes not a senju, hes uchiha, danzo had genes from the 1st hokage who was senju.

yep and what's weird is Shisui's eye does not need direct eye contact in order for his mind-control technique to take effect...
