Here's what I think:
Itachi - latest feats: Broke out of edo-tensei, Genjutsued the guy who had his eyes closed and is one step closer than anyone to turning Sasuke good with his final words HA!

Minato - Doesn't know the masked man he fought was his own student, Relied too much on Naruto and died when he could've lived and his SUICIDE jutsu Reaper seal had an epic fail thanks to Lord Oro so.... Who else do you think is better?

And Itachi is as humble smart as a person can get cos he admitted his failures..... Let's see what will Minato will do after the flashback's over to show he is smarter

The only thing Minato has an edge over Itachi I think is quick thinking in battle like what he did against Obito... Very few ninjas could have done that given the situation

Itachi lived a life of suffering and sacrifice and Sasuke is shi tting on his hardships by being the emo he is.
