who is more intelligent minato or itachi

Now both are considered to be geniuses,perhaps the most intelligent in the nv. Minato perhaps gets more credit from his village piers , but for us as readers we get to see the flawless logic of itachi going around soloing everyone, to the extent he was friend zoned by all the normal stupid kids for being hokage level at the grand old age of seven. Who is more clever?

I think they are both good enough in quickly putting puzzles together and come up with counters.
But itachi has more info on doujutsu and has sharingan that helps for better and faster acquirement of information, while minato has seals knowledge.

I don't think they can really be compared, Mnato may seem more intelligent but one has gotta take into account that Minato was already in his late 20s and Itachi was just 7 and already had an adult's level of intellect.

He did much more than just Figure out this ability... Plus, kakashi only figured it out because he has the technique and it took him many encounters.

minato has hype, but that's all... when it comes to feats, other than the tobi thing, what else is noteworthy? we know he's extremely smart, quick on his feet, but he hasn't been in enough fights to do feat by feat comparisons with kakashi or itach
