Who has done the most for the Leaf??

lmfao i say itachi but hes not on the list so ile go with minato but i dont know about madara being there he was just one of the founders of konaha thats about it he has done nothing for konaha in general

He did what was right to him.. and to Danzo.. They did it in the name of Konoha. But he also killed the people of Konoha (Uchiha).

Im not gonna make a guy on the list, who killed people without even knowing how things would have turned up..What itachi did now is heroic before it was pure innocence and stupidity.

Itachi should be on you're list, he did save the village from what could of been a great ninja war, But that came a price of sasuke leaving and wanting to destory the leaf which isn't a good thing ...

it's a little hard to say at the moment who's done the most for the village, but the answer will eventually be Naruto. There are the things he has already done--which is a ton of stuff already--and the things he will do in his role as Hokage. Jiraiya did a lot for the village in his lifetime, but Naruto will quickly surpass Jman's achievements. Also, Jiraiya didn't focus on the Leaf Village, he was totally trying to save the whole world, so maybe he did more for the whole Ninja World than anyone else, but Naruto has taken up that mantle and is now doing the same thing. His accomplishments will eventually make him a living legend, and 100 years after he dies he'll probably become mythical just like the Sage of the Six Paths.

As for Itachi, those who don't think Itachi did anything good shall not continue being on NB because IF Itachi wasn't there Konoha would have been in grave peril and would be completely destroyed in any attack directed on Konoha cause there wasn't anymore Minato to help Konoha in war...xd

I think we have to put it in perspective. Who has done something very important that no one else could have?

I believe that if Tobirama and Hiruzen hadn't been hokage for some reason, whoever actually was would also love the leaf, and do similar deeds. Maybe not on the same level, but they would still be capable. Madara, in attacking the leaf, doesn't deserve a spot. Oro also does not really deserve a spot for the same reason as Madara. Jiraya did a lot of espionage and fought well, but that's not on the level of, say, Danzo in terms of aid to the leaf. We don't know anything about what the white fang did really, and the current jounins did things that are somewhat replaceable as well.

That would leave Naruto, Tsunade, Danzo, and Minato. I won't include Itachi, because he is basically an extension of Danzo.

Since Tsunade's and Minato's main contributions came in single events (Minato with the Kyuubi's attack and Tsunade with Pein's attack), even though no one else could have done what they did, what they did does not reach the level of Naruto and Danzo. And since Danzo has been doing what he did for so much longer than Naruto, I believe that he, overall, has done the most for the Leaf village out of all of the villagers that we have seen (besides the First obviously).
