who else thinks kakashi should had trained naruto for the 2 year time skip?

People don't understand that Naruto's training with Jiraiya was focused on controlling the fox, that is why he loosened the seal, he taught him the basics but that was the main thing. Jiraiya however bit off more that he could chew, and couldn't control it, it must have have wasted some time nearly being killed by a three tail Naruto, maybe Naruto would have been slightly better because Kakashi wouldn't bother with the fox but the loosening of the seal ultimately was Naruto's saving grace against Pain.

It isn't all in power and techniques, read the manga. Jiraiya was more of a guide, that was his destiny as old toad sage said. He's the one, apart from Iruka, who is Naruto's very state of mind. It's because of him that Naruto didn't go along the path of hatred and revenge, it's because of him that Naruto had matured into protective, pure hearted individual. Besides, he taught him a lot regarding the combat tactics, rasengan and oodama rasengan, and was able to counter Naruto's uncontrolled transformations which would, at that point in time, kill Kakashi.
