Has Kakashi even taught Naruto anything? Like, has he really? All I remember was him telling him how to master an element and adding a chakra nature, something he couldn't even do. Jiraiya at least taught Naruto things, all Kakashi did was tell Naruto how to do it and hope for the best.

i personally think if kakashi trained him he would be stronger and he could had taught him counters to the sharigan genjutsu

his variety in jutsu would had probably increased too if kakashi trained him instead on jiraiya.

Kakashi would have taught him an element, and a better way to combat the sharingan, and escape genjutsu.

All Jiraiya taught him was how to make a bigger rasengan, and how to escape from genjutsu which failed against Itachi. 3 years of wasted training.

Jiraiya training was focused mainly on teaching Naruto how to use the fox's power. It looked like that was useless since Naruto couldnt control the fox then. But now that the fox is under Naruto's control, that training is finally paying off. Its the reason why his learning curve for learning how to use the fox's chakra was so short after he beat kurama.

It's due to Jiraiyas shit training that Naruto wasn't able to escape Itachis genjutsu, not Kakashis. Kakashi is better at genjutsu than Jiraiya, two years alone with him would have undoubtedly helped him out much more in that aspect, hell, he could have probably taught him the Rasengan as well seeing as he was able to help him improve it so quickly. The only thing Kakashi wouldn't have been able to do is show him how to control the Kyuubi, which, again, Jiraiya really didn't do that good of a job at.

I know you're feel bro, but people will never hop off the Jiraiya hype train. I love it when they bring up past students like Nagato and Minato as if Jiraiya was really responsible for how skilled they turned out to be, pathetic. The fact is Naruto came back only knowing how to make a bigger blue ball, and Jiraiya more than likely spent most of his time hitting on women. When it's all said and done Sage Mode was the best thing to ever come out of their relationship (in terms of abilities, and something Kakashi couldn't have taught), and even then it was Fukasaku who actually taught him.

I agree, 2 years with Jiraiya and what did he have to show for it? breaking Genjutsu? something that Kakashi could have taught him. What else, better tactics? Kakashi could have also taught him that. Bigger Rasengan? simply put more chakra into it, he could have figured that out on his own. 2 years with Jiraiya and that's it, while 1 week with Kakashi and he learns Wind Release and Wind Release: Rasenshuriken
