I see it pointless to say Minato, although I think he was an amazing Hokage, he did everything he could to protect Konoha and it's people, to the extent of giving up his own life.

Above him, only because he was not actually a hokage is Itachi. Despite what some might say Itachi was a genius, he was a prodigy of his clan, and truly knew what peace meant. He is selfless and strong and deserving of the title of Hokage.

Minato, The three sannin, Itachi, Kakashi, Might guy, Obito, shisui, etc etc lol epic fail ( all these ninja came about in the thirds reign)

Itachi...imo he was the best candidate. He was already thinking at Hokage level at the age of seven. I believe he should have been chosen even over Minato, and Oro. Just my opinion no more, no less. I just feel he'd have made an uncannily exceptional Hokage.

At that time, Itachi probably wasn't even born around the time the fourth was chosen. In fact, I know he wasn't. Minato was the fourth Hokage during the time Obito was 13.

But yes, Itachi would've been my choice for sixth Hokage.

What?! lmao are you talking about? the fourth was hokage for like maybe 1-3 years, and then Naurto was born and Fyi it was obito who attacked the village the night Minato died and Naruto was born. he was already in his late teens, or a very young man. So Itachi was like idk 7-13, very much alive.

Definitely shouldn't say in fact, when in fact, Itachi was alive. Itachi was shown watching Sasuke when Obito attacked the village. Minato was not Hokage for very long.

I think, someone like Kakashi, or the Naras wouls make great hokages,

~ Reason Being, Not only are they (Kakashi, Shikaku & Shikamaru) great ninja, they're also very smart, and are very good at strategy.

People like Naruto just jump aimlessly into battle, but after years of watching and reading, *especially shikamaru* is very cautious about what they do. Which i feel is important when its more than just your life at stake at every second of everyday..

& Not to mention I'm a total die hard Shikamaru fan .. <3
