Which is Stronger? Uchiha or Senju?

What sasuke meant by select few is that, only those who have been in a life and death situation. You do realise that not all the clan members were ninja's therefore not all of them wouldve been in a life and death situation.

If sasuke had never been in a life or death situation he also wouldnt have been able to awaken it aswell.

Fact that obito also couldnt activate it until he his life ws threaten also demonstrates that, all of them have the abiltiy to awaken it, BUT not all will due to its circumstances.

I highly doubt that he meant Select Few = life or death situation since being a ninja means that you are practically faced with life or death situations all the time. And I'm also pretty sure that majority of the uchiha clan were ninjas, meaning if majority are ninjas, and being in a life/death situation is practically mandatory for being a ninja, then every uchiha member who was a ninja should have the sharingan, meaning the majority of the clan.

well we dont know any senju alive other than 5th hokage but there were full clan of uchiha

To be honest it's a close one. It's safest to say that it's equal between the two because they were rivals for so long, so there couldn't have been much separating them in terms of power. And saying that the Senju are weaker because they were the ones that came forth with the peace treaty is bull. The desire for peace doesn't mean weakness, ask Hashirama Senju.
Personal opinion is another thing though, and I guess what it boils down to is a preference to the Uchiha's Sharingan specialty or the Senju's all-round (Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Ninjutsu) proficiency, and if I may say so myself I'd prefer the Senju.

Both sides were tired of the war obviously. In war, there are casualties on both sides, but my point still stands that the senju clearly were feeling the effects of war than the uchiha.

first fight was the two sons of the sage and the uchiha ancestor won
second was hashirama senju vs uchiha madara and hashirama won that one
and the last fight will be naruto vs sasuke and I think its safe to say they look

Naruto has control over the 9 tails chakra and currently the fastest ninja in the world, the 1st Hokage could control all tailed beasts, the 2nd hokage had Edo Tensi (sp?) and S/P jutsu, Tsunade has incredible Strenght and is the greatest medical ninja in the world, kushina has a rare chakra (lots of it), taught Minato everything he knows about sealing jutsus, Mito sealed the 9 tails inside herself and had the ability to sense evil intent like Naruto so Mito had to of had control like Naruto. Madara and Itachi are edos so they can be sealed by Mito and Kushina's powerful sealing jutsus. If madara and Itachi were alive then in a battle against the 1st and Naruto the the Senju team would win simply with the fact that Itachi would be suffering the effects from using his MS. Naruto shadow clones are powerful (KM) and will do wonders in a fight.

hmm maybe but I think 1st and Naruto vs Itachi and Madara wud go down as the Uchiha as the winner. Madara has the Rinnegan now, the Uchiha are simply stronger, what wud naruto and 1st do bout CT??!

lOLS they both strong but Tobirama + tsunade+ Hashirama= Win and + other Senju's is a guarantee...I mean Tobirama can take on any fire jutsu the uchiha can do and Having Tsunade to Heal them + Wood...i see it 2much even for the eyes and Yes Uchiha can unlock Rinnegan but again you said Clan vs Clan and you don't really expect that every1 in the Uchiha is gonna have a rinnegan, lols prob 1 or 2 and couple of them with Ems (i even doubt that) but lets just say that so in the end I'll go with Senju

Senju for a couple of reasons:

- SO6P chose Senju brother.
- Hashirama defeated madara
- Uchiha can only obtain great power by killing their own clansmen, senju don't need to do this
- Being an uchiha doesn't even mean you will awaken a regular sharingan, it is considered rare in the uchiha clan. The only guaranteed thing you get by being an uchiha is black hair and powerful chakra.

That is all. What if madara and sasuke had no siblings. MS till death. Senju is stronger

It's funny how so many are placing Naruto in the Senju clan when the Uzumaki clans was were distant relatives of the Senju and from another country.With that said, I think they are equal but the Senju are more skills.The Senju were known as the clan of a thousand jutsus, meaning they had to learn their powers while the Uchiha were bless with the sharingan.Not that the Uchiha clans weren't skilled, just they had an easier road.Also, the Uchihas had to kill their own clansman to gain greater power, lowering their numbers while the Senju clans just had to develop and then master jutsus which they did at a rate that place then on a pedestal above all other clans in that department.

Why was it that the Senju stripped Uchiha of their power in the village affairs?

No matter what Madara says, or Tobi, or whoever, I doubt that Madara LET Hashirama win.

A man he detested so much, he decided he wouldn't kill him? Yeah, he may have fought that battle to get his abilities, but Danzo got them while Hashirama was dead, and so did Yamato...

I think they were both fighting to kill, Madara just lost. I actually like Madara more than Hashirama in terms of battle prowess. Madara (and the Uchiha in general) remind me of the Saiyans from Planet Vegeta from DragonballZ. Bloodthirsty and brutal. The Senju remind me of Saiyans like Goku and Gohan who wanted peace but still had those battle instincts and power. In Naruto, people have more intense emotions than in Dragonball, so I think that they would be willing to kill a lot more easily.
